One of the reason is also distrust. Players like these, only believe in themselves. They doesn't believe in other players' skill. He doesn't need anything from other players, like their supports of stuff. This is why pub players keep feeding the game. Jump solo, get ganked. Initiate solo, get ganked. So the point is, believe in your teammates! If Tidehunter asked Axe to blink in, it's for a perfect Ravage not for watching you die up there.

So on this subject, I recently had...What might be called one of my favourite matches of all time.

The game.
I was on the QoP, and for once I found an all English team with mikes. I can't really describe it as anything but "cool", really.

We started off the game with Bat offlane, Me mid, Riki jungle and Doom jungle. It all went well until the enemy centaur disconnected. The enemy team did not bother pausing, so I think we assumed that he was not coming back.

At one point their Slark got sorta powerful and attempted to pick off Rubick. Luckily, we had helped him in placing VERY deep wards, so Doom and I were ready in the trees. Me with Orchid, Doom with... Doom.

But I think the defining moment in this game (for me atleast), was when a teamfight was happening. Someone had micro'd the disconnected Centaur's ult, and we lost Doom before long. Then...Synchronisation happened. Three of them were stunned from a stolen Slithereen Crush, and the Slark was trying to escape with Slardar. One blink Lasso and one Telekinesis later, they were all low and grouped.
...
And then I arrived at the fight.
Rampage!
It was honestly one of the best experiences of mine in Dota thus far, and it's games like these which keep me trawling through the ocean of "Cyka" and reports.

This is so true. I admit I'm lazy sometimes, but mostly when the rest of my team refuses to cooperate, too: people usually need someone to make the first step, then they join the group. For example, I sometimes end up buying Smoke of Deceit and never using it because I'm too lazy to call my whole team in one spot when they're all spread out.

Things change when I'm playing in a stack, in which case communication is much more spontaneous.

If you listen to the 4k players here when they talk to the 2 - 3k players when we all play together in 5-stacks, you know this is true about everyone here. 8{3

Yesterday in a 3 stack, everybody had mics. But one of them didn't use his, since he had music. Hell, everybody had a mic except one feeder on our team. This guy with music said he didn't want to turn it down or turn it off. He claimed that it is lazy not to type out your message. Seriously, **** some of these dota players.

When I play in stacks, things don't change. These people have mics, but they still stay silent. They just don't want to communicate. No matter what, I always feel like I end up playing all alone.

I recall plenty of games where selfishness has won the match but looking back it wasn't a fun match, and I've had plenty of matches that I lost but were very fun and enjoyable despite loosing. When you can laugh at an insane loss you know your playing the game right (rubik stole techies ult and planted a MASSIVE stack of mines mid, waited till we won a team fight and pushed mid for the GG then killed 4 of us at once in a huge explosion. They resurrected 15 seconds after and wiped out our base!)

I start every match friendly to my team and treat them the way I would like to be treated even if that means my position 2 character is buying wards or a currier, it helps the team and makes people have a friendlier interaction. So many matches people say "F that, im not support, its not my job, I cannot afford it even though ive farmed 10k gold, ect"

The human mind is very interesting in its judgment and assumption, so starting off on the right foot will help them form a positive oppinion. If you lead people to think positively from the start you will get positive results most of the time.

you know the game is not going well when your Invoker makes midas on QW build and still manages to deal less damage and have lesser EXP than you, and when the Ursa makes Black King Bar at minute 45 (;_;).

Fortunately, me and furion were stack (furion 5K player) and made the right items. He literally carried us.I was in almost every fight, baiting jugge ultimates so that my team could pwn his *** later and cleaning up the remainders of a team-fight (if i survived) while furion was ratting.

Look at the EXP graph at minute 42-ish. they had a 20000++ exp lead. and we won. WE WON. THE RATS ARE BACK. COMMUNICATION IS OVERRATED. jokes jokes.

People also tend to disagree with people they don't know/respect so there's that...

It's like, an old man says that you should take this path through the forest to get home earlier but you were planning to go through the other path, which you know yourself. Which one would you choose?

I wouldn't trust the old guy, but I would listen.

I mean, who knows what would happen on that forest path? You get in some trouble, you have a new story to tell. You don't get in trouble, and you've tried something new and now know a quicker path home.

I'd kidnap his family and take them down the path he suggested, just to make sure he didn't intend anything... unpleasant.

When given a choice between two options, choose the third.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.
