His name still is "Lich". He's just got his lore name changed from Kel'Thuzad, because Kel'Thuzad is a Blizzard character. For some reason DotAFire has the character's lore name before their hero name... I'd think "Windrunner" is more easily remembered than "Lyralei," and "Drow Ranger" is more memorable than "Traxex," but I'm just glad that DotAFire has the service in the first place.
Yeah nobody remembers Lyralei but not because windrunner is used more but because her name is Alleria

It was, however, many of the original DotA heroes were based off of Warcraft 3 characters and lore. Kel'Thuzad was in the WC3 campaign, and you can understand why Valve wouldn't want any of Blizzard's material in their game. Lawsuits.
