Analyze my Terrorblade game!

I need someone to analyze my match. How did we lost? I raped my lane, but dat Sniper tho.
This is a rare match. Usually u got those 5 carry team, but this one is 5 support. I was forced to pick a carry.

I didnt watch the replay (yet. or so i hope) so i dont know how did 3+ guys people fed sniper in 2 minutes. Thats why i need you guys to do my dirty work: analyze and teach!

Do you want the absolute truth? You got raped. Really hard. You farmed extremly slowly, and only got a manta 34 minutes in. Your so called supports didn't do well either. You had a double mek. And I could go on.


Even their Mirana had more GPM than you. And that says a lot.

you had the most GPM on the team by far and the 2nd highest last hits in the game. I think you joined the fights too much and your itemization isn't that great. don't bother rushing manta, get drums, aquila and yasha to beef you up. I would say don't worry about your farm too much, you're just fairly new (like me). You outfarmed a battlefury antimage, that says a lot. some games your team just gets rekt and there's nothing you can do about it.

i dont really play Terrorblade much. hes not in my playstyle but my mate does and he rapes with him and this is what he said to me about him so i hope it helps.

Play him like Lycan.

sit in your lane farm farm farm for the first 10
push from 10 minutes on
if pressured switch lanes
dont join in team fights
push lanes.

TB is even better then lycan really since he can take a double tower from 5 minutes.

his build is drums S&Y and BoT. then he builds into manta but by then its pretty much over.

One major problem, you had no Quelling Blade. C'mon, it's 235 gold for an item which gives you and your illusions +30% creep damage.

Other than that, itemization was fine as you aren't supposed to show up early. However, it looks like a game where you really needed everything you had to try and take down their Sniper. If this was a game where you didn't have room to farm, that is when you go Drums/SnY (even though I hate it and the MLG guide says so!) and try and fight.

Generally, you want a Manta Style as fast as possible, since those extra 2 Illusions with Metamorphosis up increase your Pushing Power...a lot!

However, Magic Wand, Ring of Aquila, Power Treads, Drum of Endurance is a good buildup into Manta an makes sure you and your Illusions aren't that squishy, though you can get away with just Magic Wand, Power Treads, Manta Style some games. After that, Eye of Skadi is gooooooood <}3

There's no real need for Quelling Blade, 235 Gold is a lot for a starting Item, and there's no point grabbing it in lane unless you're struggling for Last Hits but aren't being Harrassed away from the Creep Wave...which is rare.

You don't jungle as a Terrorblade unless you're waiting for Metamorphosis to come off Cooldown, no Hero needs Quelling Blade to Last Hit Creeps, and hitting Towers as soon as possible is a much bigger priority.

My only little out of space comment is that Dark Seer isn't really a support, and both Warlock and Windranger work better as farmers. Just something that caught my eye.

And judging by what I've seen, you just got raped. Sometimes it happens no matter how good you play.

'Unless you're waiting for Metamorphosis to come off cooldown'... this is quite often. You're not fighting in teamfights early, so you can happily use it to get towers faster before the team can react. In addition, things kill you in lanes! It's quite viable to have Terrorblade jungling while illusions push, or vice versa. Also, in a realistic world, you can't be pushing towers all the time because it becomes predictable and that's placing a giant sign over you saying 'smoke gank me!'. What I usually do is have the Hero safe in the jungle, an illusion in mid, one in safelane, and Manta illusions farming jungle as well.

Of course there are times where you have the opportunity, and so then you go and push. Then you go back to farming. If you are just staying in lanes and farming there you are wasting so much of Terrorblade's farming potential and losing yourself an easy 200GPM.
