I feel something strange is happening with me lately. Despite losing much more than usual(I think that's a coincidence or Gaben's Reborn MM jokes, can't be that I stomp at 3500 and lose so ridiculously at 3700). I think the closest word to describe it... zen?

I am impervious to what my teammates say or do. I can't be ****ed with their opinion. I don't flame, don't rage at all. I almost don't get demoralized after a bad start(though I used to, really hard). I take anything that has happened in the game as a fact and face it. I don't give up unless it's a sure loss like megas without any possibility for us to def, come back and push the throne. And I always have 100% motivation to carry a game, no matter the odds. I just play it as a single-player game, taking everything as a challenge, and I don't cry about lost games, these pts will be mine anyway, sooner I later because I deserve them.

I think that's for good, Dota has become much more enjoyable, and I hope it isn't just a temporary state. Has anyone experienced something like that and what were the consequences? The strangest part is I don't know why have I changed my attitude so drastically without any visible preconditions, no changes in my life, no major events, the only reason I can find is Reborn client introduction(though this doesn't make any sense to me) or new patch anticipation(this is slightly more logical, like I may think that whatever I do in 6.84 stays in 6.84, new patch = new life).

Solo Queue got even easier. All I had to do was make sure I had a Hero that could Carry the game single handedly from Solo Offlane. 8{3

For me, if I win, its a stomp and if I loose, then we get stomped. There is no middle ground, no nail biting games, no bother megas bbase race. Dunno what has happened.

My second Rampage as Outworld Devourer :D. Both were stomps though...

Also, Rod of Atos is insanely good. OD literally only need this to become an absolute monster. Kids, dont go Force Staff first on OD. Get atos first, 10 sec cd slow is way too ****ing good.

Also, good for you Unscathed. I was writing my OD guide, and I determined that Atos is the best snowballing OD item. 30 INT for only 3100 gold is too good for him to pass up.

I experienced the same thing and I have read somewhere on a site about mediation on it.
Well if you want t here their explanation we ascended to an enlightened state where we accept the world and everything else and this leads to new levels of inisght.
I actually enjoy that thought but I don't glow after all so maybe that is not the real thing.
(or is it? - who knows)
But I think that at least the part with accepting everything is pretty true. Maybe it is the amount of time we played and from my side it was also me thinking about the whole and coming to some conclusions...I know this must either sound religious or like I am on drugs but the way I see the world now is that you need to accept it to enjoy it - there are things you can't change and you can only change yourselve and maybe a few others around you. This is a pragmatic way of seeing the world and one that gives a new level of joy when you play.
Just my few cents (maybe I'll write a blog about it...or no. Who would actually reach this...my writing sucks).

Is the dotafire community becoming less active or is it just me?

I wouldn't project this on a life as a whole because my life attitude hasn't changed and it still sucks, only Dota. I could say it is caused by game experience, but there are a lot of players with 5k+ hours of Dota 2(and even more if you count DotA), and a lot of high-MMR (baby-)ragers, so I think this is not the case.

Well whatever has caused it I enjoy not being influenced by other 9 players and playing at my psychological maximum all the time, so I'll let it last.
