Teamfights are an important element to any MOBA and DOTA 2 is no exception. But evidently, some heroes didn't get that memo. Which hero do you believe is the most useless hunk of dead weight when a teamfight breaks out?

Depends on the timing. Since it's true for some heroes depending on when you ask. Since Invoker is definately the worst hero for level 1 team-fights; He's the only one who can't bring a spell to the table.

In general... I'd say maybe Bounty Hunter. His CC is really bad, he doesn't have a massive amount of burst, and everything is single target. Maybe like gibbing a support in the early stages of a fight? But it's just not good compared to other options for doing this.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

I feel like it's Huskar, the only way he can be remotely useful is to Life Break into the enemy and hope he can get them to waste a couple spells/disables on him. But what ends up happening is he just gets focused down by a bunch of right-clicks, that neither his bkb, Berserker's Blood or his borderline non-existent armor can save him from. Even before all that, Life Break has a lousy cast range that pretty much prevents him from initiating effectively.

He could be useful in early teamfights, but anything past the 30-35 minute mark will mean he's going to struggle.

Huskar is a hero who forces attention onto him, which is actually useful in team-fights. Because if you don't focus him down early, he puts like 10 or more stacks of Burning Spear up into the fight, and suddenly you are losing people left and right. Which is why he's awful in mono-core line-ups (Unless you are against like 90% magic damage), but is much better when you have a second core to be your main damage dealer who takes advantage of the space.

Admittedly late game he becomes relegated to jumping on opposing supports and either forcing them away or killing them whilst BKB's are up.

But he's definately more relevent than others.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Broodmother, without hesitation.

Purely single target hero. Spiderlings are useless with all the AOE flying around. She's a purely single-target melee right-clicker. Her lifesteal won't save her when she gets focused since it's only useful in small engagements.

Oh wait...she won't even have webs where the teamfight is happening, or any way to teleport to it :)

Another hero who I feel could be considered is Viper, strict single target skill set, plateaus in the mid game. However, he can at least soak up a lot of damage and scepter's upgrade to Viper Strike allows him to use it from a safe distance. But like Huskar I feel like Viper's only true contribution to teamfights is to just sit there and soak up damage/spells for as long as he can, which is something he does better than Huskar.

Though you could make a case that he can do a clean up role, picking off any stragglers left over from a teamfight with Poison Attack and Nethertoxin. Ultimately, there are better options.

The thing with viper is that he gets mek and i generally tanky, so he is this giant nuisance slowing people if you ignore him, and if you go for him heb is really hard to take down.

I think bounty is the worst, or a broodmama with splitpush items.
