How to Use Post "Commands" for Neatness?

The thread name was a bit odd, but I'm going try and make this quick without sounding too, "noobish" so to speak. I've been on dotafire for a little bit and I'm make posts here and there and I recently discovered how to use the double bracket command (if you want to call them that) to make a hero, item, or skill's name appear with an icon in your post. So, if I were making a guide, or a thread about my hero idea, what other "commands" might I want to know to make it seem more, professional I suppose? I already know how to use italics, bold, underline, and coloring, but still my posts are quite clearly poorly put together when compared to the posts of the users that have been on longer. So, I suppose if someone could give me the 411 on formatting that'd be nice. Thanks!

Mostly the use of double square brackets [] round the names of stuff, for example ((Razor)) with double square brackets gives you Razor.

Wow thanks a ton! Yeah, I already had the double bracket one down but I didn't know about tables, lists, icons, or any of that! I already skimmed the guide but I'll make sure to bookmark it.

The thing is that Dr.D's guide works on the majority of sites, not only on this one!

I may add that using [rule] also makes this line.
