Buy diffusal and start banging at me.
Meanwhile my scrub team runs away while i ulti.
So recently i tried going mid and taking a midas.
Naturally, i failed.
For me it's Vengeful Spirit. Roaming is just so hard when I end up with teammates who don't react from obvious pings and just sit there doing nothing when I stun. I always end up losing the early game with this hero because of the lack of follow-up. Defensive swap is not that good because it just saves the life of someone that wants to feed in the first place (and who will feed eventually). Only thing I really had success with is offensive swap, pop BKB, and right-click with damage items to take out the enemy supports.
@ Peppo : For me Hand of Midas Shadow Fiend is a horrible, horrible build because it completely misses the timing window of the hero. By going Midas you pretty much give up one of the big strengths of SF which is his early/mid game burst damage, and you also stay squishy for a VERY long time at exactly the moment when the enemy team wants to roam on you mid and shut you down. You don't play SF to be useless early-mid game and go for the 35+ minute mark with a Midas. You play SF either to snowball by bursting people down, or to recover from a bad lane by flashfarming with raze while winning midgame fights with good ults. SF gets a very high GPM thanks to raze and his armor aura anyways and midas almost does nothing in comparison to boost his naturally high GPM.
This hero needs to either rush a blink or shadowblade to gank or get tank items like drum or BKB to survive teamfights.

Just 15 minutes ago I was watching AdmiralBulldog's stream.
He was playing with a support Tiny (dont ask me), and the guy got a 35 minute Hand of Midas after his 20 minute drum. Ended up 0-12 or something. Didn't stun after 10 pings and voicechat "pls stun we go in".
Of course Bulldog was telling him to please get a f**ing blink because a Tiny without blink and without damage items is pretty much useless...but no just after you see the tiny midas icon pop up at the bottom right and all the chat was like GG xD
6.5K MMR boys.

Incredible...
And now Xyclops is showing everyone how to not play Io. The god dam fool.
Every time I play him, none of my ranged pals shoot into the sphere. Nobody follows up with anything. I once played FV with a Luna, no eclipse happened.
Definitely Shadow Fiend: every time I play him, either the enemy supports smoke gank mid 24/7 or my teammates are clueless and I have to solo carry them (unsuccesfully, of course). I haven't played the Hero in a long time.
Yea SF is one of the if not THE worst midas hero in the game. It ****s up your timing in the game and is probably even worse in pubs then pro games.
Im not cursed, im Doomed. 1-8 with him a belive.
So bad with him, i have no idea what to do and just aimlessly run after heroes. ;_;
