Poll Question:

What do you think Huskar's place is in the competitive scene?
Situational #1 Position
Semi-Carry/Ganker (core hero)
Niche Hero
Occasional Ban by Nuke-Heavy teams
Cellar Dweller (Not even worth a respect ban)

My first post here in a long time. If this doesn't stop, I'll grab the Mjollner and smack you both as equals.

Huskar eh... Here it goes. My opinion on the thread is that quality wise it's not worth more than a pidgeon taking a ****.

Now the subject however, it's quite interesting. Huskar in competitive saw a tiny bit of play, and he actually had quite the win rate (as shown in previous pages). But this was way before the nerf that ruined him. Not being able to cast Burning Spears while ethereal pretty much wrecked him. His main problem is no matter how much magic resistance you'll end up having from Berserker's Blood, he's still going to get completly wrecked by magic resistance.

What is worse is that IceFraud took the liberty to nerf his AGI and AGI gain as well, so now he has close to no armor as well. You can classify him as a fast attacking Tiny without the steroids and the nukes the actual Tiny has. That pretty much means he is utter **** right now and something has to be done.

Can he mid? Sure he can. Will he get outpicked? Probably 80% of the times, the answer is yes. Only thing I see him win against mid is a really poor melee like Pudge or a hero that's really susceptible to harassment like Shadow Fiend.

I think an SF who went raze first will still outlane huskar.
You get raze you take creep gold, get to level 2 and continue the approach until you get enough souls that allow you to last hit by rightclick and possibly trade harass.

Raze for 100 (75 with reduction) damage for 75 mana? Uhm... no. That's not going to happen, and even then, Burning Spear will just force him through all his regen until he needs to go back.
