Alright guys, I made a thread some time ago about this weird 1GB update that popped out of absolutely nowhere.

I would say it was some corrupted files, but it came back again after a bit. Just had a 1.7 GB update.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Maybe you should completely reinstall?

It's the server updating about the maintenance, told you in the last thread too.At least that's what I think it is.

I doubt it, if it was to do with the Server updates, wouldn't we all get these updates at the same time, as there are a lot of players who search in every region and language just to save time.

I'll just try a full reinstall... didn't want to do it because our internet isn't exactly the best around.

The PC's antivirus is avast (It's on the list of the programs that interfere with steam, I know, but it's been normal between the two since I started playing dota 2 so I doubt it's caused by the AV)

The maintenance on each server is not on the same day.Today, it was the Aussie server.We get Singapore and EU East on the 21st.

Well many people say that disabling Avast fixes the redownload problem. Might just want to test it out?
