The facts : a change to your number of LP games happened at approximately the same time as the moment where Kyfrog was being an innovative troll.

I think the cause-consequence relation here is a bit farfetched XD

Now if you just googled up the date where this change happened and compared it to the update history on the dota website, maybe you could find a more rational explanation. After all, changes to LP are fairly common and well documented.

But then, I cannot not commend Kyfrog who did a pretty good job of bringing confusion. Between us, I think he's letting himself go these days, those Aghs stacking threads were a bit disappointing, nothing that even remotely compares to progressive drum builds or the classic Dagon Knight. He could use some support.

So let's all gather and show our support. Kyphoid please make us dream again!

(Btw problem with MMR grind is not the stress, it's just the time wasting. Game shouldn't require 3000+ hours played to get to the rating that actually corresponds to your skill. Compare to those RPG's where you need to spend tens of hours grinding the same monsters over and over, but far far worse because here it's *thousands* of hours.)

So uhmm. michimatsch here. I do simply not understand the concept of your mmr thingy.
I always thought that mmr was to give you the ability to play and at the same time be queued with other players.
I do simply not understand that you grind mmr.
I always play ranked games and they aren't stressful or anything they are fun and at the same time I am moved closer to a place where I belong - be it better or worse.
So why do you grind? If you get it that high that you can barely keep on par with enemies and have to spam one hero to win then dota isn't fun anymore. And it is a game after all, isn't it?
(okay, okay it is art but art is fun too and games are fun, right?).

Uhm...I really wonder why Smuggels got banned. I mean I was gone for a week. But going offtopic means you can get banned???
I mean if they warn me and are like hey! you stop going offtopic! And then I continue I can understand it. But can I be banned just for going offtopic? Because then I am always on the brink of being banned because it is so hard to draw the line.

Michi it's not our place to speculate about the banning of smugs or any other member for that matter.

I think this must be taken as a warning regarding what happens if you stretch the patience of the mods of this website.Remember, this isn't dotabuff, a website whose forums basically overflow with toxicity,******** and spam(not accusing anybody of these heinous charges,It's just an example).I remember being demoted from editor for abusing (i used to abuse a lot), which has rather increased my respect for the website and the people who run it.

I'm sure the mods and hades must have thought about it a lot before taking the decision.I know that this has not been easy for them as well.

Oh but this is this offtopic section and I live in a free country...so why can't I speculate about it? I must admit that your reasoning sounds good but I will say what I want if no one tells me that this is too much we live in a free country after all.
They were probably 100% reasonable (according to their opinion - but we can't all be happy, can we?) but I would really like to know what happened. It is not like Smuggels is a troll or sth....at least I haven't seen that. But I am fine with the forum as long as it lets me say my opinion to any topic

Daily reminder that I am a unique and special human being while others are just a bunch of sheep with the same fur, and that I should be treated with care while others are blatantly inferior and caring for them is a waste of time.
