Name other candidate. Just remember he will have to fight under Aghs Wd ulti and blink ES chain stuins 20 minutes into the game. And exclude melee heroes as WD would just solo kill them even before his ultimate.
Besides, I had 3k crit, I was the real xXxSnIpArZxXx, who cares about anything else?
I told u to eat a moon shard, you were swimming in 8k gold. You did a 0.85 per second attack.
And the response i got fromyou was, Nothing.
Yo put yourself to offline mode.
At least tell me to shut up if you dont want to hear from me. >.<

Check again. I thanked you for the suggestion, but realised I had no access to the shop. I couldn't send cour because I was 100% sure it would be killed like it was when I tried to get my 1st Rapier, and I couldn't go there myself because I could be killed as well and I had to counterpush constantly.
It wasn't about the shard tho. If anything, I would go Bots, Mjollnir x2, Daedalus and 2 Divines, but I realised we had no chance to win when all we could claim was their T2 during our "grand gg push" with Lion. Like we had 1 hero who dealt damage to enemy heroes and towers and 1 hero who could def megacreeps, and both of these heroes were me lel, and I don't remember Sniper having Divided We Stand in his skillset. No offense to the rest of the team, they actually did better than me.
That Sniper couldn't go to the secret shop was indeed pretty evident, and there was Always someone there waiting for that courier, always. It was a nice resistence, though.
But mates, indeed the salt on the last in-house was too much. You should consider, specially the person who decides to be captain in each game, that vibe affects the plays a lot. At a certain point the stress was so much I coulnd't even click the skills lol and the same was evident for the rest of the team. I would suggest you guys tried next in-houses be more friendly, and careful with mic management.

Was there someone flaming on your team in addition to Waloo's casual *****torm?
I don't think that Sniper was the problem. I'd rather say that having pretty much one core hero (it was clock + puck, right?) against lineup like ours made the game really hard. Even though we had - lets call it as it was - totally useless slark, we managed to "ourcarry" you. Invoker's really strong lategame, so is WD (hell, this hero is soo underrated by most of the people, especially as core), even ES/Disruptor is a better lategame support duo than Venge/Lion (if you don't have more heroes than Sniper to buff with venge). I'd say if you want to pick a "single core" lineup (and by that I mean mid and offlane that don't offer much damage, only control), you need a hero like SK, WD, AA - as heroes that can deal a lot of damage - or #4's that can transition to carries (like WK or Mirana). Eventually, you can go for heroes like Jakiro and just melt the towers early on, though it'd be even easier for me as Witch doctor (If you're afraid to pick a core WD in pubs, the easiest time to do that is just picking him vs deathballs and Drow strats.). I believe that if you had carry-ish midlaner or hero like SK you'd look way better in the game.
Still, I think y'all played well and rosh fight (where Xyrus actually got his static storm off) followed by Echoslam and Death Ward won us the game.
For me it's actually the Puck pick that kind of lost the game. Picking Sniper commits you to a pushing lineup, so why pick a CC/pickoff hero like Puck? Why pick defensive supports like Lion and Venge? Why not go full push with a standard pushing mid instead? I expected to see e.g a Dragon Knight or a Windranger mid pop up, not a Puck.
If you are going for 6.83 style 1 hour base defense with Sniper, you'd better pick another core that goes late game in the draft. 6-slotted Sniper is not that scary since ~half the carry pool has a better 6-slot...especially Slark that probably owns him with only 3 slots : silver, skadi and abyssal on Slark = GG. Even if Slark got rekt in early game, if you turtle he can still come back in farm. Sniper got so many late game nerfs it's ridiculous : less agi, now always needs MKB, no longer has a bash, etc, so turtling for late game was pretty much a waste of time. Well, was fun to watch tho, at least a Sniper picker that buys rapiras like a real man.

True dat, I was camping the Secret Shop most of the time. 8{3

Yeah, you lost when Megas came up since you lack strong Wave Clear, if you have another good Farmer you could have Pushed as 4, but well, you held out well and gave it your best. <}3

There definitely needs to be less salt and more pepper. It is frustrating when you get a Teammate who complains that they can only play "X" Heroes, or when they move too close to you and end up setting up a 5-man Ult for the other team, etc. but at the end of the day, you can't expect them to do much. If you want them to perform better, try explaining what it is they need to do, if they fail at it, explain it again and be patient. I know it's weird, but people do get stressed while playing this game and this causes more mistakes than their inexperience.
To all the newer players who are taking on roles they aren't used to - just mute anyone that gets too salty. I've temporarily muted people on my friends list before and beleive me it helps (just remember to unmute them as mutes will last forever - it's a good way to know if you're playing with an arsehole in Solo Ranked as if you've muted them before, they'll still be muted when you're queued with them 8{D ). If you're getting flamed and not geting any useful advice, just mute and listen to the teammates that are trying to help you. Just trust in our advice, if we say "Dive the Tower", we already have a plan for getting out alive (or it'll be a worthwhile sacrifice), so just do it, you'll be amazed at how many potential Kills, Towers and Smoke Ganks you can successfully take without ever noticing when you start listening to a more experienced player.
You guys could have smoked as 5 and run to the secret shop quickly, leading with say the Puck first, because he's most likely to get out again. Like, you had to make the attempt if nothing else, because without the attack Speed you would never win that game even if you did have 3k crits.
But I agree with the idea of having more push. Like, if you had a DK instead of the Puck you probably would have won that game. Because Timm gave you so much more early momentum than the Puck (The Puck's Dagon also seemed like a bad pick-up in hindsight but eh), and you could have abused that to gain momentum and gotten more of an advantage.
However; credit must go to the Earthshaker, because he made the plays to get Radiant back into that game. Even if he could've done more in the laning stage, he got a great Blink Dagger timing and I only think I saw him have one bad Echo Slam in the game once he'd gotten hat.
That second game mind you. Egads that was a whole different thing. A much worse, and much different thing.

The problem with sniper is that you cant pick him as your only core. He does no damage untill the lategame, and preferably at highground defense. Thats one of the reasons he was mainly played mid in 6.83, because besides being strong there he needs other heroes to also bring consistent damage.
When played as a safelaner he needs another carry in the mid, SF, TA, or even just a queen of pain.
In the draft we had the hero i would replace would be sniper. As for possible replacements, Juggernaut to pressure and participate in fights.
Or go full 4 protect one with the likes of spectre.
We coupd do both since we were ahead, we ****ed up taking rosh several times though. Sniper cant push an advantage unless you have a team that can take aegis and then slowsiege. But we didnt have both those things.
As what was wrong with the draft as a whole, there just wasnt any idea behind it. It was the most standard of standard. The support duo did well at ganking early midgame, puck made some wonky mistakes :D but did pretty well overall, and i got all the space against their safelane. But there wasnt any actual synergy and ability to get any objectives. It instantly went wrong with the first 2 support picks. It wasnt like we picked up the most amazing duo or a gamebreaking support or something.
Then we went on with the most standard of standard.
When you just pick up versatile heroes it generally ends up with a team that is good at nothing. No pushing, no great teamfight.
Edit4hamsterman: Rigt click clock would have been fun. =D
But i knew the farm would probably stop coming since my ability to get kills was naturally lowered later in the game, but i would still be able to get one expensive item so i just went for hex.
True, should have picked another scaling core, and I actually wanted to pick Magnus, but... well... you know what happened.
If that happens for the third time I give you 100% guarantee I won't even ask for cap's, because banning a hero you wanted to pick is too next level even for Puppey.
