Hi guys it's my second guide. My first is about Pudge, in case if you miss that XD .
So, what do we know about this hero? Well, Terrorblade is an AGILITY hero, which means he has a very high attack speed, but very squishy, especially in Early Game. In order to utilize Terrorblade's max potential, you need to bring him to Hogwarts.
What was that? My bad.
In order to utilize Terrorblade's max potential, you need to let him farm and farm and farm and farm and farm till you WIN!!
Give me your soul and I will save thee, for the Terror is coming to haunt!
So, lets scroll down!
WHY TERRORBLADE??
I get this question often. Why Terrorblade? Why not Anti-Mage ?? Why not Spectre? They got escape skill and really good carries???
I WILL ANSWER YOU!!
Because Terrorblade is a hero with highest base attack speed (excluding Troll Warlord's skill). Because he is the spreader of terror, that's why!!! Mwahahahhahhhh!! And btw his set is sooooo cool.
His illusions are the best around here, so farming is not a problem.
I personally like his Sunder. Especially when you used it on your allies. You get the feeling <I'M THE BOSS!> XD
Well, he may have many shortcomings, but rest assured, he's fun to play. Even noobs can use him! XD
Here is Terrorblade's skills, in case if you don't know
Reflection
Terrorblade slows the target unit's movement and attack speed and creates a phantom illusion (untargetable, invulnerable) of that target attacking it for the duration.
Range: 275
Illusion Damage Dealt: 40% / 50% / 60% / 70%
Attack Speed Reduction: 60
Movement Speed Reduction: 60%
Duration: 2.5 / 3.5 / 4.5 / 5.5
Notes:
*Reflection illusions are uncontrollable.
*Reflections can only attack their Target.
*Reflections are not frozen by Chronosphere.
*Reflections will still follow their target if it turns invisible but will not attack
unless he has visions.
Mana Cost: 50 Cooldown Time: 22 / 18 / 14 / 10
So the gist is,
Reflection let you slow your enemy within 275 range and will deal damage according to your damage. This skill is very useful for fleeing heroes, such as Dark Seer. Note that Lycan's
Shapeshift cannot be slowed.
Conjure Image
Creates an image of Terrorblade under his control. The illusion deals a percentage of his damage and takes amplified damage from all sources.
Illusion damage dealt: 30% / 40% / 50% / 60%
Illusion damage taken: 200%
Duration: 32
Notes:
*The cooldown is shorter than the duration, so Terrorblade is able to conjure multi-
ple illusions at a time.
*If Metamorphosis is active when Conjure Image is used, then the illusions will be in
ranged form for their full duration.
Mana Cost: 80 Cooldown Time: 16
Creates an illusion, a strong one. This skill is very useful for farming, since Terrorblade needs to farm. Usually I keep this skill until I get my LEVEL SIX items. After that I just create an illusion, I farm hard camp and the illusion farm on easy and medium camp. Especially when
Conjure image is already at level 4, you can summon a new illusion before the old one expires.
Metamorphosis
Transforms Terrorblade into a powerful Demon with a ranged attack.
Bonus Damage: 20 / 40 / 60 / 80
Attack Range: 550
Base Attack Time: 1.6
Duration: 40 / 44 / 48 / 52
Notes:
*Bonus damage is added to Terrorblade's base damage, and thus his illusions benefit
from it.
*Can be used to disjoint certain projectiles.
Mana Cost: 50 Cooldown Time: 140
Yes, this is Terrorblade's main skill. It changes you into a range hero with added damage, and it's quite cool actually. There's not much to add about this skill. REMEMBER!!!
BEFORE WAR, USE THIS SKILL THEN CONJURE IMAGE. ILLUSIONS WILL BENEFIT FROM THE ADDED DAMAGE, RANGE, AND ANY ORB EFFECT ITEMS.
Sunder
Severs the soul from both Terrorblade and a target Hero, then exchanges them, carrying a percentage of each units' life force. The target Hero is also dealt a ministun. Some hit points must remain.
Range: 250
Minimum Health: 25% / 20% / 15%
Notes:
*0.5 seconds cast time.
*If Terrorblade's health is less than the defined minimum health it will still cast,
but the opponent's health will be reduced to the set minimum health only.
*Interrupts channeling spells of the target (including allies).
*Ignores Blade Mail and Spiked Carapace.
*Can gain health even while under the effects of Ice Blast.
*Does not trigger Borrowed Time.
*Can be used on allies and illusions.
Mana Cost: 200 / 100 / 0 Cooldown Time: 120 / 80 / 40
THIS IS YOUR LIVE SAVING SKILL!!!! Basically, it lets you switch health with anybody except NEUTRAL. Your allies are nearby? SUNDER! Enemy with max health nearby? SUNDER! You got into war, heavily wounded, but you remember you left your illusion with full health?? SUNDER!! Special note for Abbadon, you can Sunder him without triggering his Borrowed Time, and after that, if you hit him, it will trigger.
Pros:
+High base agility hero
+Super hard carry
+Easy farming with illusions
+Sunder, what a skill
+High attack speed
Cons:
-Low base health
-Farm dependant
-Item dependant
-Rely on supports
-Always the enemy's first target, as you are the carry
STARTING
First item is Tango, Circlet, and Stout Shield.
Tango is, of course, for survivability, Circlet is for stats. I prefer Circlet cause you can upgrade it to either Wraith Band or Bracer rather than 3 Ironwood Branch. And Stout Shield is just for damage blocking. You can either sell it or upgrade it to Poor Man's Shield. Well, if you are confident in your last hit skills, you can change it to Quelling Blade. In this stage you are required to be patient, don't be aggresive, keep last-hiting, and pray. XD
PREMATURE PHASE, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN XD
By this time you should have this three item. Power Treads for stats, Drum of Endurance for movement speed and some stats, and lastly Ring of Aquila for agility. In this stage you can now roam, look for kills while steadily farming. Keep farming in this stage, cause this is where you are the most vulnerable. Tell your supports to buy Observer Wards and Sentry Wards and place it on your jungle. This stage is where most nukers and gankers roam to find squishy carries like YOU! Yeah YOU!! Just kidding lol. Try not to get involved in war, but if you can get a sure-kill then, why not? Just be careful, have keen senses, map awareness, and luck. Yeah, sheer dumb luck.
MID GAME
This is where you can roam. Well even though I still advise you to farm. You have finished your Manta Style, which is your primary item. Now you can farm better by creating illusions with your skill and Manta, scatter them to jungle and lanes. Upgrade your Ultimate Orb to Eye of Skadi. After you got those two items, you can begin your journey to the underworld XD
LATE GAME
By this time you should be the hero with the most gold gain. You have completed your job, becoming the most terrorizing hero, and so on and so on. You can either wreck havoc or wreck the enemy's base. XD
Like many other hero, Terrorblade also have friends and enemies, even though he's the terror spreader. Who are they? Let's scroll!
FRIENDS
Nyx Assasin
Like any other carries, Terrorblade loves stunner! Once an enemy is stunned, a kill is guaranteed. As long as you are not stunned too! XD
Wraith King with Wraith Blast, Sven with Storm Hammer, Vengeful Spirit with Magic Missle, Mirana with Sacred Arrow, Lion with Earth Spikes, Nyx Assasin with Impale, Sand King with Burrowstrike, and Crystal Maiden with Frostbite.
Who doesn't like mana? Terrorblade has a pretty low mana pool, and these heroes can provide you with mana, so???
Silenced? DEAD.
Disables also works well. With Shadow Shaman's Hex and Shackles, Lion's Hex, and Ancient Apparition's Cold Feet
FOES
Terrorblade has sooooooo many enemies, cause he spreads terror to them! XD
Of course, every carry hates nukers. They can KO you in a heartbeat, especially this folks. *nod*
And there are still many more, cause Terrorblade is hated for his terror! XD
So, in the end, the most important thing from Terrorblade is farming and farming. Never miss any chance to farm. Thanks for reading my guide, hope this helps you a little bit. Critics are welcome with open arms :p
