This is going to be the updated version of my first guide, because i went from 60%
winrate up to 70%!




Welcome to my first hero guide,


i wanna explain u how i think Huskar can win nearly every game with the right team.
First off Huskar is a great carry, but there are better out there so playing him with Armlet of Mordiggian for example or early life leech etc. makes me sick because u dont need it to snowball and there are in my opinion actually better items.
Which are clearly justifying my absurd winrate as 4K Scrub.
I mean yes the best Huskar players are ppl like Meracle, but they are 5-7K Players which play on Tournaments they can even pubstomb with a Lich having a Mask of Madness and a Skull Basher which happened to me once in a higher MMR Game.

The mentality of what i�ve seen Pro's playing i�m gonna copy is wrong.
For example i dont like how much ppl get Sange and Yasha on Shadow Fiend every game when actually a Manta Style would be better just because it was seen on pro players.
But lets move on.

Huskar doesnt need much farm to be effective in the game, he is in my opionion the best tank/initatior in the game in the game and the best early game killing maschine and this guide is to show u how u can make use of it.

One of the things is that u can not only tank u also deal a lot of dmg and u can pressure all lanes when u got your Life Break.
So if u got 2 others Carries in your Team farming and the enemies has Doom , Necrophos or a Heaven's Halberd they gonna use it on u over your 2 Carries.
Space ****ing created!
On the other hand Inner Vitality is a ****ing broken heal and you motivate your team hard if u do nice, they follow u into every jump while having a ***** from watching how u just destroy everything.
I mean 3 abadons? No problem Huskar got his Omni Knight ***** and won the game solo.

In the later parts of this guide we gonna break down some mechanics and skills so enjoy :)

Pros / Cons

Pros:


    Its funny to jump people
    Its hard to die
    You are like Dragon Knight in ranged form all time
    U dont need to worry about mana
    Best harras in game
    Rly good DPS the whole game
    You dont need bkb in every game
    Lifebreak slow goes trough bkb
    Anti-Tank
    You motivate your team
    You win games

Cons:


    You hate pure damage
    You hate axe in early game
    Your ultimate can put u into a bad position
    Not the best Crowd Control
    You drain your own life
    Some counter items

What is my Role? What is my mentality?


The Angry Paramedic


The perfect role for Huskar is the Mid Laner.
There he gets the experience he wants, also are nukers mostly mid which is good for him.
You can easy harass most of the ppl on mid with Burning Spear as well and zone them out while not getting creep aggro.

The other reason why mid is best because Huskar early is weak as solo offlane vs some dual lanes like almost any lane with Crystal Maiden.
On the other Hand Huskar falls of in late game in the most match ups, because there are far better Carries than him.
I mean why should Huskar make place for Pudge or an Queen of Pain mid.
Pudge needs mid because of the exp but he cant zone or deny reliable.
And well Queen of Pain can go solo off and voila u got space for a Jungler or a Trilane.
Thats just an example.
So your Job is to farm and deny mid, maybe make some kills but when u hit lvl 6 u gonna need to go out of controll and snowball to create your real *** carries some ****ing space.
U work for them if u wanna win, you´ve to pick up a Mekansm and be their healing ***** which supports the early pushing and teamfights, since you get the full attention
or rampage if not.
If you see your Carries is low and you are as well, HEAL HIM!.
Inner Vitality has a 8 second cool down, and the Carry is far more important.
So u see trouble get back while giving your Carry a heal and then consider to retreat with him or go back into it.

Your mentality is going to be a paramedic Troll Warlord with a bit Dazzle and a serious problem with pyromania and anything that lives as well an favor for attention like Axe.

Notes:
  • The health percentage and the primary stats are checked periodically and the regeneration adjusted instantly..
  • Restores health in form of health regeneration, so it regenerates 0.1 + 0.5%/1%/1.5%/2% or 0.1 + 2%/4%/6%/8% of primary attribute in 0.1 second intervals.

Skill in action

inner vitality is the most op healing spell in game, it gives u a base regenartion of 10 per sec and 5% of any heroes main attribute and if your health is below 40% it quadruples the factor (x4).
Lets do some math.
If you are lvl 25 u have 78/79 base strenght, if u are below the health border u get about 62 life reg plus the 10 base reg from the ability per second.
So without Items u already get 100 hp a second for 16 seconds.
You can also cast it on other heroes like phantom lancer he has a higher gain of his main attribute and about 101 agility which means he gets healed over a 100 hp per sec, so make sure to cast it on your allies too.


Burning Spear





Notes:
  • Damage type on self is HP Removal.
  • Huskar cannot kill himself using this ability.
  • Deals a total of 40/80/120/160 damage per burning spear instance (before reductions).

Skill in action

Burning Spear is the best lane harras spell, shoot the hero burn him slowly down
without takin aggro from creeps.
Fist off plz dont auto cast! , you can get fast low in fight which makes u a one hit wonder for axe or heroes with crit or high damage.
The burning spears are stacking which means the more u hit the more u burn him to ashes.
The only bad thing is u drain your own life to cast it.
Ez mid, ez life.





Berserker's Blood





Notes:
  • First stack is gained at 100% - 87% of Huskar's maximum health. Each following stack is added for each 7% max health missing.
  • The health percentage is checked periodically and the effects adapted instantly.

Skill in action

Berserker's Blood , hello to thic magic resistance ****ing nukers eh ehe eh.
The more life u lost the more magic restiance and attack speed u get, u are nearly invulnarble to magic, the online thing which might be annoyng is getting stunned, hexed, or just other things that annoy u, thats the reason why i rarely get bkb on huskar.

Skill in action

Life Break slows through magic immunity which last 6 seconds by 60% ?
Yes thats already nice but u just take 35% of his life (and yours if u didnt turned bkb on) , with Aghanim's Scepter u steal even more life 65%,
without yourself still not loosing more than 35%.

Items

Core:




Tranquil Boots
All you want to do is gank, since you dont need mana but HP, armor and movement speed this is by far the best item on huskar.
Suprise other lanes with 390 movement speed and say hello with a Lifebreak.
If u loose the buf you loose the buff u still got 10 more movement speed than with treads.


Magic Wand
In early game this item give u alot of burst heal which allows you stay alive even longer, also u always have mana for Inner Vitality


Mekansm
Mek gives you armor,burst heal and you can build it into Guardian Greaves in lategame.
Jump into a teamfight get low, if your almost dead use Magic Wand into Mekansm and be almost full hp, u heal your mates aswell which is the reason why my Huskar games are going so good in general.


Guardian Greaves
The upgraded version of the Mekansm is just beyond good, u get mana and a heal for free, also when you are low it boosts your armor with 15 extra armor and gives you 15 HP regeneration and this not just for you this buff workes on your team mates aswell.


Solar Crest
When u got all this Items now u can end most games, let towers u push dont hit u tank the whole enemy team while your mates do objectives.
The evasion is rly good, and the armor decrease on target is good for ganking.

This are the Cores items what you go next depeneds on the picks.


Situational:




Aghanim's Scepter
Lets start with an Item i never needed to build.
U just should get it if you are not the main carry, you need to slow the enemy carry and deal as much damage es u can as burst.
If u play Huskar my way and do it right u will be the main carry because the main carry is afk farming mostly while u win with the other team mates every fight and are rich as **** because u already got raxx.


Mjollnir
This is a good item for Illusion Heroes such as Phantom Lancer ,
If someone if your team has Assault Cuirass already u can buy it anytime.
Phantom Lancer , you might wont stop him with this item but you will do the most damage in a teamfight to him, his illusions and to his team in the most efficent way.
Dont forget you are not the guy who carries this alone. (hopefully)


Eye of Skadi
This is one of the best Item vs Carries i could Imagine it would stick good to Aghanims if the game goes late :)
Tell me your experience.
Why would i go Eye of Skadi instead of Heart of Tarrasque, well the extra HP and the passive of Heart of Tarrasque dont do **** in fight since if you take damage you loose the extra regeneration.
But an Eye of Skadi in my opinion is better because u can spam Inner Vitality while also slowing the enemy Damage Dealer through a BKK, so you get nice stats, good hp and a Anti Carry passive in one item, thats why its more viable in my opinion than a Heart of Tarrasque also for example a Windranger if jumped by your Life Break , cant escape while Windrun because she is super slowed by a Eye of Skadi , if it turns of you are in jump range again.
The other way around Heart of Tarrasque on you, farmed Windranger Blink, Stun ulti combo u are as dead as with any item.

I had only one game were it came to use and it was wonderfull.

Linken's Sphere
Huskar doesnt need damage items at all, i got allways the most Hero Damage by far in every game, u need to stay alive, if u got Rupture or Doom in the enemy team u need this item in combination with a Black King Bar


Monkey King Bar
Throw stuns at em like a tard :D
recommend late game item vs evasion heroes like Phantom Assassin


Satanic
Finally i talk about Lifesteal, this item is rly worth its money.
But you dont need to buy it if u get stunned or slowed so much that u wont be able to attack.


Silver Edge
My favourite item in the new meta.
No Backtrack, Dispersion, Blur, Bristleback


Scythe of Vyse
Silver Edge --> Life Break --> Burning Spear --> Scythe of Vyse
Life Break , I call it the oh no :P comes good with Aghanim's Scepter


Phase Boots
If you play vs a trilane u might get those to harras more and move faster.
If you get Tranquil Boots and get hit everytime its just not effective

Why do i not see an Armlet and whats with this Mekasnm


I explain you know in short why i think that the Mekasnm is better than an Armlet of Mordiggian.
First off Huskaris not a late game position one carry thats why this guide is for offlane or mid, Huskar will never be a good late game position one when u got heroes in the enemy team like
Faceless Void , Spectre, Phantom Assassin.
The Armlet of Mordiggian is better in early and mid game when you fight especially one vs one it will
but in late game just be a dead item spot which u want to replace with a stronger item.
Mekasnm isnt like this, you can upgrade the item into Guardian Greaves which are rly strong on your hero and do something for the team aswell.
Also a Mekasnm is better for early pushes and teamfights which help you whole team alot, Dota isnt a game were you can allways be the shining star which kills the whole team alone, its just safer to grow stronger as team and not stronger alone.
For example if Necrophos or Enigma dont have to buy a Mekansm because i bought it from the ganks i did, they can already start to get an half Aghanim's Scepter or a Blink Dagger which is good for all.
Also i dont like Armlet of Mordiggian if there are DoT abilities in the game were u cant toogle or many stunners were you just would loose HP without doing anything, besides you already need to use HP to fight i just dont feel that the item is worth the 40HP loose per sec, because i dont even go Power Treads for IAS and dominate the game with Tranquil Boots and a Magic Wand :)
This is just my feeling you are free to comment about this etc. i will answer the most but im happy with my winrate, hero score and this build :)

Early Game

Early Game

Try not to die, harras the enemy with Burning Spear maybe u can land enough hits to kill him or bring him so low that u can risk to overextend a bit :)
Once u get your Tranquil Boots , Magic Wand and Life Break u can gank in the most games some lanes already.
The good thing is the with the Tranquil Boots u got about 390 movement speed and bonus armor which makes u early tanky and fast on other lanes.
If enemy heroes are fleeing the is just no escape if u dont get hit by something physical or you hit something physical before.
You can gank any hero at this point with some skill, for example Axe got no ultimate and he's not a ranged hero so u can kite him and burn him down by orb walking.
If Pudge wasnt mid he doesnt have enough lvls in Meat Hook to kill u, besides this spell is easy to evade if u are fighting him.

Mid Game

Mid Game

Mid Game, glad we made it to here without already loosing because of some ******s.
Listen if u got your Mekansm, your team is ready to push and to follow u to glory.

So here a short explanation of how i teamfight with Huskar.
I Life Break into the enemy crowd with self casted inner vitality, do **** tons of damage with Burning Spear and get focused by their team.
Meanwhile my carry does something our supporters do something too and im nearly dead, oh say hello to Magic Wand im half full again thx enemy casters :) , oh what is this i got enough mana for Mekansm , well now im and my team is nearly full hp, their team out of mana and half dead gg go next.
Fight Won.

Late Game

Late Game

Huskar is not the best late gamer and gets outcarried by many carries, you need to end this game fast now and you have various options to proceed.
First question yourself why u loose teamfights now or why cant u breake highground.
Does my team enough damage in fight?
Do i tank enough damage in fight?
Do they have more crowd control?
Cant we break high ground?



Doees my team enough damage in fight?

Ff the answer is no u need to get damage items too.
If the enemy team as not much of these Black King Bar u may buy a Mjollnir, if they have evasion get a Monkey King Bar , if they kite, or are to fast get a Eye of Skadi etc.

Do i tank enough damage in fight?

If the answer is no u need to get more hp, armor or evasion.
Try out some of these Heart of Tarrasque , Assault Cuirass or Solar Crest
If the problems is pure damage better go for raw hp or evasion instead of armor but if i had to tell u this u should better go for another hero :)

Do they have more crowd control?

If the answer is yes get a Black King Bar or a Linken's Sphere or both.
Also try to convince your team to do so aswell.

Cant we breake high ground?

If the answer is yes u cant then let one of your heroes solo push while u and 3 others try to get the actraction from as many enemies as you can for example.
In your team Drow Ranger goes to push top raxx, while you and your team pressures bot.
If the enemie team goes to defend somewhere, break the highground, u may die but its better to get raxx than nothing and get owned later.
The best case would be if they send one hero first to defend against Drow Ranger which gets killed, then u got a big advantage and should proceed.
Also if you got one raxx already you can dominate a creep with Helm of Dominator and smoke it with Smoke of Deceit send it to the base and hide it there, if the enemy team wants to push just send someone with Boots of Travel over there and bam.

Ive picked some very good allies and some heroes i rly had big problems with in early game, Queen of Pain can slow u down in team fight like hell with Shadow Strike , and suprise you with Sonic Wave .
Bounty Hunter can wait in team fight till u are a bit low and one hit u with his Jinada so take care and buy Dust of Appearance !
There are some other enemies with pure damage too, like
Pudge , Bane , Silencer , Timbersaw
which can make your life hell.
Dont forget that in late game the enemies carries like
Faceless Void , Spectre , Phantom Assassin , Lifestealer
will just eat u.

Ursa can deal massive damage to u with Fury Swipes while he is taking nearly no damage because of Enrage your only chance is to kite him and lets someone else do the job. Eye of Skadi in this game is a late game must have.
Slark can deal massive damage to u with Essence Shift and deals no damage while in Shadow Dance , so we have the same problem as with Ursa.

The lets be best friends for ever supports


"Lets heal Huskar!"
" Dazzle!"


"Can i give u a bit immortality?"
This both are the best supports in most cases in my opinion.

Dazzle helps you out with a slow Poison Touch, can heal you Shadow Wave , make you unkillable while hangion on lowest HP point and firing Burning Spear like a maschinegun Shallow Grave and his ultimate Weave is a nice armor solution for Huskar

Omniknight helps you out with a slow aswell Degen Aura, can heal you while damaging the others with pure damage Purification,
and make you invulnerable to magic and physical attacks Repel , Guardian Angel.
Sadly he is a deent counter to you aswell.

How to handle these heroes


Bloodseeker


Dont get silenced and u kill him in early game, even if he has Blademail because of your Mekasnm heal.
Burning Spear to death take care of your hp that u can use Mekasnm and look how he dies while u are still alive.
Later if he gets more farmed you should get a Black King Bar vs the [Silver Edge]]
he might has, or the Blade Mail and kill him again.


Slark


If you play vs Slark you need a Black King Bar soon and something to evade his damage while he uses his Shadow Dance , i recommend to have a Silver Edge to go invis or a Ghost Scepter if your dont have that good farm.


Ursa


Kite kite kite!You need to keep runnung away from him and orb walk, early game he is no problem but in mid game goes the same as for Slark and the u get a Eye of Skadi in the end.
When he uses Enrage he wont take any damage well it feels like it, [[Life break}}
him that he is slowed and run, engage him when its off and kite him again like this till he is dead.


Tusk


Mekansm , Dust of Appearance :)
If he wants to Walrus Punch u just use the Mekansm then Dust of Appearance and finish him off,
u might want to get an Assault Cuirass.


Omniknight


In early laning phase dont jump the one u want to kill, for example jump Omniknight to scare him that he uses Repel, then kill the other one with Burning Spear
Keep in mind that Guardian Angel can be dispelled by purges and cyclones.
So if your team doesnt have one of those get an Eul's Scepter of Divinity or a Diffusal Blade also u need to take care of Purifcation because its pure damage gets u rly fast low in early game.

How to handle Ursa and friends perfectly

Ursa has one problem, he can be kited easily.
Since your not the main Carry my son in a good SetUp u can just do the following.
Grab yourself an Aghanim's Scepter and an Ethereal Blade or Ghost Scepter paired with an Eye of Skadi in late.
[Ursa] jumps your carry, you jump on Ursa which is now slowed.
Now there are 2 things to do.
Is your Carry is bashed and can`t run? Then Ethereal him that he can get away.
If your Carry is moving away and you are closer to Ursa cast it on yourself and move!.
If Ursa has no Black King Bar u can also make him ethereal, or just go for a Heaven's Halberd.
Another nice job in doing this to Ursa or Anti-Mage who is for examplke another Carry which needs a basher or slow for good killing potential is Shadow Demon.
His slow goes through Black King Bar as well and applies Break with Aghanim's Scepter.
Also he will make the Carry get slapped by his own Illusions while he is slowed to snail MS.

Summary

As i said Huskar is by far the best early game "Carry" , "Ganker" and "Tank" under the right conditions.
Anyway there is a point in the game were you dominate so much and save your allies with TPs and Mekansm or {{Inner Vitality]] because u can handle the enemies without needing it.
The game will turn into a everyone loves Huskar game, if you are smart now u can give the commands and the team will proceed and dont even be mad if u still loose if u act nice :)
Your warm Burning Spear is overflowing the hearts of your team mates.
The other scenario could be u win your lane, others loose their lane u start to teamfight tank all the **** create space for your team and give a comeback that the game will turn into a everyone loves Huskar game ^^

The last option is u loose your lane u get flamed but then u farm 1 or 2 items dominate the game and well after the first godlike streak your are also here the boss.

The key thing in this build is the Mekansm , so much burst heal can turn a fight so hard for you, doesnt matter the Hero well exept Slark , Ursa
You can also bait with your low hp and bam use Mekansm
