Ofc I did, I stated in the second part of the post "without the buff from W" so I tested it with W buff when I said crit is 20% better.
And still, you yourself said thatkilling one hero and getting cc'ed to death is Pa's big issue and you advocate for a build that min-maxes that trait instead of fixing her unability to switch targets in the first place. If she snowballs(let's assume it because otherwise you already lost with Pa in pick) it's not much of a problem to kill her target with either crit or bfly so I'd go for an item that lets hero do something after that rather than doing this sort of an, imo, overkill stuff.
In the late game, yes, switching targets is the main issue.
However in the mid game, single target damage is the main issue.
Giving her an ability to switch targets is a good buff because it makes her late game much better. But that's only relevant once she already has enough damage to 3-shot people.
...which she really doesn't have. Even with one big damage item.
Seriously, just compare PA with Windranger's ability to vaporize heroes in less than a second before they can even do anything. PA's damage is just tickles in comparison.
Besides, how does movement speed allow PA to switch targets? She has no disable because dagger is on cooldown, so no way to lock on anyone...
Not attack speed but flutter active. Plus, additional evasion, if not countered, will make it even harder to bring her down since most heroes have a set limit of magical dmg they can dish out after which they are reduced to autoattacking you.
I like the idea, tera. But people though MY pa ult was broken - think about a three second cd Phase Shift. :D
Maybe the number needs to be tweaked, but it's great so far!
EDIT: Also, does anyone here feel like Coup de Grace needs to be renamed/changed to a different ability? Because that's not what a coup de grace is... it's supposed to be a finishing blow.
I suggest something like this: When activated, PA next attack will gain attack damage to whatever is necessary to kill the target it is on, to a cap (do the math).
But it's not, though. More like a three second cooldown disjoint. Except probably an average of 2.25 second cooldown disjoint. Depends on your attack speed.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.
Before I instigate another off-topic discussion, I think I'll comment on the actual content of this thread: your rework, Tera. It's the most sensible one I've seen so far, adding an increased level of skill and actually balancing the hero rather than just buffing her like crazy. My personal suggestions for would be to 1) leave dagger cooldown the same and 2) take either the crit chance buff on Coup de Grace OR the bonus damage buff to Phantom Strike, but not both at the same time. (My personal choice would be the bonus damage buff on Phantom Strike to make her overall DPS more reliable, while still giving her an excellent steroid to her crits to make up for her typical damage items being nerfed). Edit: Perhaps the cooldown on the blur active is a little low as well: 5 seconds at all levels, perhaps?
So, with that being said, what's everybody's thoughts on the Armlet of Mordiggian build that seems to be starting to crop up on Phantom Assassin, eh? There's some interesting theory-crafting to be done there: it is +40 damage for a 2.3K gold item when you have it toggled on, and you can make use of this in small bursts by activating it, throwing out a dagger, and watching the results. With quick reflexes she can even use it to tank magical burst in the early game, then blink strike away before she's focused down.
Looking for a laugh? Read this moron's attempts at guide writing:
I think it's super-good in Deso builds instead of Vlad's because it gives pretty much same sustain but way more survivability and damage. Actually, it;s probably the only "good" early item on her.
Armlet isn't really a sustain item tho. More like the opposite. That's why the best armlet carriers are heroes who have built-in sustain like WK or Naix to compensate from the HP loss.
If you buy armlet, you're constantly low HP.
