Saruman as in LotR Saruman?

Because yeah, he dies in both mediums. In basically the same fashion.

Apparently his dead scene does not exist in the non-extended movie versions. In the normal movie the treants said they will guard is tower as his prison, while in the extended one Saruman was slain on the top of his tower.

Just surprised me a bit is all :p
