So, I was searching for what to read next. I recently finished the inheritance cycle. I found the dragon lance saga as a suggested series on a forum. If any of you have ready anything in the series, I ask you,

How are they?

I have also read A song of ice and fire, The wheel of time sagas.

You could try Lord of The Rings if you haven't read it yet.

See, I always thought Inheritance, while a decent story, was poorly written and the protagonists were extremely hard to identify with due to a general lack of flaws.

As for novels to recommend, you've read most of the ones I was going to. A couple of the Warcraft books are OK, but most of them suck. If you'd step away from fantasy, An Artist of the Floating World is excellent if you're into the postmodern stuff.

EDIT: Just thought of one. Forget the series name, but the author is a bloke called Blake Charlton. Think the first novel's called Spellbound? Anyway, got some fairly interesting ideas in it.

you want an awesome mind bending one

enter player one.

or

do androids dream of electric sheep

or

the dresden files for probably one of the best "bad" fantasy reads. bad meaning like 600ish pages so relatively short rushing prose and a lot of action just top shove you through it. i really like them because its a mic between grittu noir detective shows/books and fantasy world. also bradon sanderson dows the kings saga and it has to be some of the hands down best period world period creation period ever period.

great read.
