In pubs Dominator + Yasha is better for farming than Midas. Midas is very risky and mainly works if you have a really coordinated team that knows what exactly the game plan is.

It's true that Midas can be punished, but I still prefer it to Feeding Stacks to the other Team, but then again...am I the only one who has his Ancient Camps raided every few minutes by the entire enemy team after about 10:00? T-T

Helm of the Dominator is the first item and you should have by 10 minutes at the latest. I usually have tread/helm at ~8 or tread/aquila/helm at 10. I've never had good experiences with Hand of Midas, and it's not really necessary on a hero that already outfarms 99% of the hero pool.

You seem to be in opposite circumstances to me. X{D

I disagree with the shot at Midas though, no one really needs it, but it's still good on any Hero (so long as they don't pickup another Farming item).

As for Item builds, I recommend these

Starting Items

Starting Items (Alt.)

Early Options (Only pick 1)

Core Items

Luxury

Situational

Only if you're gonna lose otherwise

I've never played a Daedalus on a Luna.. Does the crit bounce over from Moon Glaives?

My six slotted Luna would be Boots of Travel + Manta Style + Satanic + Eye of Skadi + Butterfly + Monkey King Bar.

Xyrus you are awesome! I'm going to import these items and skill build into dota 2, just so I can look at them more easily. (not going to publish though)

No, but both you and your Illusions can Crit on your main target, it's useful if you want more Damage on a Single Target, but since i play Rat Queen Luna, I usually don't bother with it! 8{D

Yeah, that's a pretty typical build for me too <}3

Monkey King Bar is Situational, but when do you ever see a Game go Late without anyone on the other team having Evasion?

Eye of Skadi is bad on Luna because the slow applies only to the initial hit. Just get a Butterfly instead. Or might as well get an Assault Cuirass for extra defenses if none has one.

Daedalus doesn't work well either.

The reason you get a Skadi is to Tank your Illusions up, as well as increasing their Glaive POWA a little bit. Satanic/Herat of Tarrasque should be gotten first, and probably a Butterfly as well, but after that your choices are a (2nd) Heart of Tarrasque and Skadi for more Tankiness. I prefer Skadi, since I'd rater increase their Damage + Attack Speed at this point in exchange for a little bit of Strength.

The Eye of Skadi slow only applies to the first hit, yes, but the way I perceive it, Eye of Skadi is a Heart of Tarrasque substitute for an agility hero - it gives a lot of EHP, lets illusions tank a lot more, and the slow effect is just icing on the cake.. However, I'd only pick it up after I have all my luxury aka Black King Bar, Manta Style, Butterfly, Satanic.

Eye of Skadi is no substitute of any item for any hero. I always pick Eye of Skadi over Heart of Tarrasque for any carry hero, unless I already have other UAM, and Heart of Tarrasque over Eye of Skadi on heroes that just need to tank up, not deal damage.
