I'm a guy who uses the website Tvtropes a lot. My guide to countering heroes is based on it's model. Today I was bored and I went to go read Arc Warden's tropes. Basically the gist is that someone lifts things we say and puts it into the tropes page.

And I saw something similar on Night Stalker to a guide I read (http://www.dotafire.com/dota-2/guide/day-walker-night-stalker-a-guide-to-balanar-642) the part about being the being the fastest and deadliest, look at the tropes page and you'll find the thing there.

The troper who edited it was called HTD, which doesn't seem to fit any of our usernames here. Can anyone help in finding this person? I'm not seeking credit, I just want to know who the illusive person is.

I personally do not mind them using the stuff we write. It's something for fun reads, and personally, a bunch of forum members including me, Sando, Hamstertamer, and Terathiel write in a way that fits the mood of the site a lot. Some people might not be okay with not being credited, that site doesn't have a citation page, but at most, you can ask for the people editing it to leave a edit comment on the history page "from this post on dotafire (link)".


What got me to make this post was that this was taken from a post I wrote on the forums (I noticed the night stalker thing a long time ago). A lot less people read these forums than the guides, which are the main attraction of the site. Because of this, I suspected that this troper might be a Dotafire member. I mean, I'm a troper too.
