Vanguard is pretty counterproductive on PA. The only point of this item is to block physical damage however PA's only problem is magical damage. Vanguard is an item for heroes who are weak to physical damage that's why you can build it on battle Anti-Mage (to my knowledge that's essentially the only hero on which this item truly makes sense - because he's almost immune to magic damage and weak to physical).
When you have 50% evasion there is no point in getting damage block.

You can build Drum of Endurance on PA but personally I really dislike it. If you want HP Power Treads is your go-to item (+152 HP!!)

Theres that battlefury build. How legit is it?

Battle Fury is legit but extremely situational.

PA is just so good at farming heroes and so bad at farming creeps that generally farming builds are a bit unnecessary on her.

I'd only really go Bfury if facing illusion heroes, Meepo, Manta Style users, etc. Generally if I think I can get big cleaving crits in teamfights with this item I'd consider getting it, but only for farming it's a bit meh. Still better synergy with PA than Midas though, because at least it's a damage item and PA really needs damage items.

Cookie-cutter PA these days is helm/BKB/basher with treads or phase depending on whether you need HP or not. Extensions are Abyssal, Manta and Satanic.
