After having played the mighty Omnibus in several games now, though my rating ist still around lvl 2 I got the feeling that Omni seems some how useless in early and midgame... Don't get me wrong... I'm warding like a hell and supporting how I can but my experience is that 99% of the players in early game have no clue what the hell they shall do and do not know who Omni is.

Yesterday I had a damn good game lasting over 45 minutes. However I was 2nd highest in level in my Team... got to lvl 24 which I never made before because simply games were over until that.

Picked to the bot lane with the Skorpion... same story as usual... every time retreating after bkb or heal, not gaining XP and not last hitting. Was also immune to my advices.
Two on top lane which couldnt make it better than the little Skorpion. Only the big water melon guy was useful. So I decided to support the water melon and from that we had a good dame.
About Omni I have the feeling that around lvl 9-10 he turns into the s…

Wow... there is an omniblog function here... cool :D

Well what shall I write into my blog since I never did that before.
Will other people read that? Maybe yes...

So, maybe I should start to say sth abt myself.
Well I'm Sinthri, which is the stupid name of my second WoW Character which was an ugly female orcish warrior tank basher back in 2005. I'm using that name ever since that for all freakin Characters I made.

About dota.. I am a bloody nooby. Last time played while WC3 tried again with SC2 mods and never heard of anything else but laughing out loud which I did not like cause I did not want to pay to win.

I'm playing Dota now since beginning of July. After having tried several classes, starting with stupid hard carries in PBs as I believe every bloody noob does I'm now back to my roots as a freakin rock'n'rollin He4l0l lane support Omniblog uhm knight. That's my class. I love it.

Hi everyone so I just came back to this website after a while, and I'm wondering if we can create troll guides on this website just for people to see what we do when we're just messing around.

Btw if anyone can direct this post to the right category, it'd be appreciated.

If you watch pro games, you will most certainly see many tactics that they use that may seem unfamiliar to you. But many of it is fairly easy to do, you just need to know how. I'll describe some of the tactics, strategy and skills that is more well-known and used even in public matchmaking, and also more advanced tactics for competitive teamplay.

Juking

The first fairly easy and probably commonly known tactic is juking. Juking involves moving in such a way as to make it hard for the opponent to track you. This usually means running behind trees to make the enemy lose vision of you. This allows you to change direction, or TP out while you are out of sight. Other ways to juke (for instance if you have a blink), is to run into the jungle, juke around a tree, then blink in an opposite direction. If you stay out of sight you can 'juke' the enemy into moving in the direction they think you moved, completely confusing them and getting away safely.
A great guide on Juking can be found right h…

As a long term support player (it's my primary role) I have to say that some recent experience has really opened my eyes more to why many players get off playing this role in pubs.

While there's been some nice teams recently (who y'know, actually say thanks, even commend), but the last few games have been an absolute nightmare. Our team has actually won pretty comfortably, they've had wards all games, utility items, free salves and all the usual stuff.

Think the main problem in all these cases has been that I've been the only support on the team - hence you're still expected (and try) to do everything, but obviously some things take longer. Unless you're getting neutral stacks, assists or early towers then you end up having to make some tough decisions - which do you need first from Observer Ward, Flying Courier, Sentry Ward, Town Portal Scroll...and that's before you even get to the Bracer, Boots of Speed or Mekansm that you really need.

All of these things are managable i…

Slark is one of my favorite heroes, at that he's one of the easiest heroes out there but people still find ways to butcher him.

Let me begin by defining the word "Support" how some people see supports:
A support is a hero that doesn't get items and their whole purpose is to make sure that some other lucky guy gets a bunch of money and the ability to farm and get a ton of items to own, while they have to basically be their servant and buy wards, a courier, etc.

That's not it. Here's my definition of a support class:

A support is a hero who can dominate early/mid-game, when people don't have many items, gold, or experience because their skills are generally very good. Thus, they do buy items to support their team, not because they serve the carry, but because they don't need the items to be versatile, and their gold can be better spent elsewhere.

It's very obvious that Abaddon is an extremely versatile and great hero because of his insane ult, passive, and other skills. But he doesn't need items... everything you guys list is just luxury. I think there's a reason that his Aphotic Shield can be cast on other …

Hi guys. I'm making a dota 2 team. I'm looking for three more players. In case I can't decide, one can be used as a back-up and will be invited to the guild. Anyone who can also design a team logo is welcome. I need players, each of which who can play at least one of these : semi-support (not hard-support) hardcarry, semi-carry, offlaner, solo mid. Comment here and add me on steam! For those interested to know: I'm from the Philippines, english is my first language. My steam is ¼˚bun|| DiTTo

I'm currently working on a guide for Centaur Warrunner with some fresh new ideas and insight. It's not a lot right now, but it will be soon. I'm putting a LOT of thought into this guide, and it's taking a while. Actually, it'll probably be a couple more weeks before I'm done. It's going to maximize his ganking and initiating potential and make using him pretty much a guaranteed win. Can't wait for you to check it out! Currently, it involves Urn of Shadows, Orb of Venom, Sange into Heaven's Halberd, and Phase Boots, but I can't spoil it too much. I can't wait for it to be done. I honestly don't know if you can use the link below yet, so I'm putting it here anyway.
