Your late game support of choice

We are all aware that Carries get really hard and stiff as the game goes on. However, recently I've started leaning towards more Late game supports, what with the abundance of late game hard carries in public games its a nice compliment and if fairly successful. So, I've come to ask, what is your late game oriented support of choice?

I'm personally a fan of Dazzle lately, the low cooldown power of Weave and Shallow Grave make him a joy to play and surprisingly frightening against teams that aren't composed of Necro-Zeus-Leshrac. Also counters that annoying Jugg fellow.

I've also been enjoying Abaddon, as his Aghs is really quite powerful, and stun removal is pretty fulfilling too.

So which support that goes the distance are you most fond of? I know there are many candidates left out (such as Shadow Demon, Warlock, Oracle, and Winter Wyvern), but the poll limit is quite small unfortunately.

Enigma: Can insta-kill everyone with Agh's + Refresher

Keeper of the Light: Recall + Illuminate for push, Blinding Light for miss chance.

Omniknight: Agh's Refresher for 12 second Glyph!

Silencer - 70 mins in 60 plus stacks. 300 pure damage per hit. BKB piercing ult. secondary silence. mana burn. come at me brah.

Omniknight - aghs refresher, cant kill anything or anyone.

Oracle - once he has the mana pool which he should have by late game ... good luck killing anything... oh wait refresher as well .... yea GG

Skywrath Mage - bkb wears off? .... bye bye hp

Silencer and Omniknight, it can be so hard to get around their ults in large late-game clashes.

cmmon guys. I agree what you guys are saying, but,

1. Techies is never played as a support.

2.A true position 5 support will have a hard time getting anything for the late-game.Too much ward-*****ing and protecting the carry going on.

3. Omniknight = Diffusal Blade.

4. Skywrath Mage will die before getting off his ultimate (paper HP).

5. Oracle = meh, nobody even plays the ****er.

6. Silencer = Yes, this ****er is OP.Only if he can be alive.300 pure damage alright, but getting 70 stacks is next to impossible as it will require your kills and assists to be above 35, which is very difficult to acquire.

7. Enigma = Yes, very strong hero.But equally hard to play.

8. Keeper of the Light = lol.

9.Abbadon = very strong disable remover, bkb piercing slow and two lives.good tank transformation.

10. Ogre Magi = this hero is based on pure skill isn't he?

11. Wraith King = a WK without carry items(which you are not going to make) can't do ****.

12. Vengeful Spirit = surprisingly effective with a bkb piercing mind-****er, base damage steroid (HUGE when used with morphling or drow or centaur or slark)

13. Dazzle = he is just a walking ult at this point of time.He cannot, i repeat, cannot live long enough to use his ultra-short ranged Shallow Grave.Ulti pierces bkb, so we've got that going for us.

14. Ancient Apparition = cmmon guys, you forgot this ****er?Global push on a 40 second cooldown, effectively nullifies the advantages of Heart of Tarrasque and fountain regen, all magic damage becomes pure, extra hit damage, 4.5 second conditional stun.He's a beast if used correctly

15. Io = This guy is a rapist that doesn't **** with you in front of you.You want to push? oh okay let me destroy your rax.Want to rosh? oops another rax gone.It is just that simple.The fact is, you cannot push against an io.Period.You are going to have to leave 2 heroes in base at all times (and they can't be supports, cuz supports suck 50 mins into the game). Also, picking Io in combination with 1 or 2 heroes that are excellent anti-pushers pretty much ensures that the enemy team cannot win without a miracle.

Any good skill that benefits team or hampers the enemy = late game support.

Everyone stereotypes supports.
Late game, everyone has some items or other.

Guy can manfight carries and come out on top in the lategame.
