I came here because I wanted to improve. I couldnt be more happy with my performances now. I improved drastically. My winrate says it all. From about 44% to 49%.

My next real goal is to get a smurf and start having a decent mmr, since I think I can go 3.5/4k.
We'll see how it goes, but for now I'm still improving a lot.

Thanks to all for contributing and sharing ideas. It helps people more than you think, and make them a better player.

On topic: congrats, but smurfs are a waste of time really - you may(and probably will) get higher a MMR value, but players are still generally ****ty both in attitude and in chance of meeting some random idiot with ******ed build etc. The only advantage is that you get harder 1 vs 1 opponents so you may learn something.

When I joined DOTAFire - 49% winrate
Now - 52% winrate

Had good effects on me though, even if I had 6 years of DotA 1 experience before joining.

When I joined DotaFire I was basically Diamond V already.

Now I am unranked??!?!?!?!

I also improved, like from 51% to 54% winrate, so I am glad.

Not entirely sure it was mostly thanks to you, DotaFIRE members, but all the contribution here must have helped me a lot, even if I can't notice that.
By the time I joined here I also started reading a lot about mechanics and analyzing every hero, and every spell, just to create a decent guide.

When I started DotaFIRE I had a win rate of 46%

After learning and playing with you guys It jumped up as high as 52%

This is easily the best Dota community I have found, and it's all because of the people. Thanks so much for making this community such an amazing place to learn.

I jumped from 49% to 55%. This is mostly from watching Singsing cuss out his friends of course.

Smurf MMR= Fake MMR...
You may get 4k, but you will start losing it fast.
If you can't raise mmr, it's where you belong.
What MMR do you have ATM?
But if it makes you happy, I'm ok with it
