Hi all, my friend has recently played kunkka and he got one lucky crit with which he got 1 hit rampage. Is it OP that tidebringer's splash damage is pure? Here's the video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm6nsgRfwrI

Kunkka is slow, he's seriously dependant on tidebringer for effective farming & teamfight effectiveness, and he needs a lot of farm to maximize his utility.

There's also a large number of hard counters to Kunkka (Tidehunter especially, as his natural durability and anchor smash absolutely crush Kunkka). His attack animation also isn't instant, so if you buy a blademail his health will drop like a sack of rocks if he crits.

What would you have? Add Omniknight to the list of counters with Repel or Guardian Angel?

Kunkka is slow, yet deals tonns of damagefrom a huge range he's seriously dependant on tidebringer for effective farming & teamfight effectiveness, so what, i8t has 4 seconds cooldown and he needs a lot of farm to maximize his utility hits for ~900 unresisted damage on crit with just a Shadow Blade and a Daedalus which is easy to get before 30 minutes, after this farms like crazy and get six-slotted fast.

There's also a large not really, just a lot of heroes to not let him snowball/farm/fight and a few really hard countersnumber of hard counters to Kunkka (Tidehunter especially not a counter, only dangerous with Refresher until you get BKB, else he is just hard to gank and that's all, as his natural durability and anchor smash absolutely crush Kunkka how so, if he strikes from a distance?). His attack animation also isn't instant, so if you buy a blademail his health will drop like a sack of rocks if he critswith his natural 2k HP, rum, possibility of getting Hot/BKB pretty fast, and the fact that if he gets a crit to drop down his hp by THAT much, you all will be dead anyway? meh.

What would you have? Add Omniknight to the list of counters with Repel or Guardian Angel?

Damn, that orange text is convinient. Kunkka is strong in right hands, weak otherwise, that's about it.

I don't think Tidebringer is OP. He has to get in melee range to use it, he can essentially use it only once in a teamfight, it's not as practical as Sleight of Fist that can be cast from afar, etc.

I just don't get why X Marks the Spot is getting buffed in every patch. If there's something broken about Kunkka, it's this freaking skill. It's really a mix of Glimpse and replicate that can be cast on allies. Volvo please.

yes, that spell is getting really tricky, you can x yourself, tp home, and you are back in tf with full hp and mana, maybe a bit broken spell.
