Oh boy. This looks fun.

Hades4u, teach me your secrets. I want to break out of ~70% high skill 30% very high skill games to all Very High.

Biggest Regret: Testing MMR when I was still in Normal Skill Games. Stuck in 3k hell where allies have pretty poor game sense. My normal games are of much higher player quality, which is weird.

Also, if any of you play on the US servers, we should play together, I'm usually solo queue and the company seems nice.

Additionally, pretty much everyone here has a higher winrate on Radiant Side than Dire, some by like 8%. I think this might be a balance issue.

Here's mine

I noticed that I am an odd case, I have quite a lot (well, only a third of Hades and Wulfy) of games, but the most played hero is only 39, while those posting here with less games of me has much more on a specific hero.

Opinion on this matter? Do you think it's bad if I prefer to play on a wide array of heroes? Should I learn to concentrate on some heroes?

Well, I've won and dominated in a lot of matches :p

Honestly I only play in matches with under very high skill skill bracket only when I queue with friends.

I think you have it right. For me, i have most games with Shadow Shaman, Lion and Skywrath Mage because in the early days of my career i spammed these guys to death. I haven't really played them for 2 months now, only the occasional game, as i want to spread my experience around and since then i have a good few heroes gaining ground on Lion and Skywrath (i REALLY spammed Rhasta in the early days. Love the guy though).

Variety is the spice of DotA, as the saying goes.

I wonder if I should compromise my values and play pubstomper heroes like Viper and Chaos Knight to raise my MMR, though SK is working fine recently.

Well thanks anyway Hades. I should've realized that would be the answer, but still I appreciate the thought.

For many players I imagine that one hero with more success will be chosen more. Some people like to explore other heroes and practice with them. Some people like to choose one hero and try to perfect their play with them. Wide array is a good skill to have (like whenever I play with my stack, I tend to lose unless I'm playing SK) and some heroes you don't necessarily have to concentrate on such as Viper. Do what works and makes you feel good.

I don't play any skillshot heroes. I have terrible aim, so that cuts off like 20% of the hero pool. Also don't get to play hard carries because my skill bracket still has problems with draft balance. About 10% more of the hero pool is extraordinarily teamwork dependent and picking them can be suicide too. Reasoning like that might also be why some people have more limited hero play.

Yzreel: It's fine. Look at my dotobuff. Although I have slightly more games than you my most played hero is Bounty Hunter (like you :D) with just 22 games. It's not about mastering a specific hero but get advanced Map awareness and the intuition how far you can go and when to stop to farm, fight, push, chase

Pretty much gave it away. Though I thought it was a screamer. I was ready for it.

http://www.dotabuff.com/players/113928409 - 3,65k scrub currently

Here's mine. I had quite a losing streak recently, but 2 Ranked Captain's Mode Solo MM won in a row (AND I WAS A CAPTAIN IN BOTH GAMES - got around 8 commends from my teammates [without begging]).

I might have problems with my mouse. It's 3 years old and I feel like laser is not responding clearly to my movements. Mouse is on a wire.

EDIT: I played 3 Ranked CM's and in each of them I picked Jakiro and Necrophos. I also banned Juggernaut as 1st/2nd ban. Am I such a tryhard?

I was actually worrying about the link not being underlined(though it is usually too late once you notice since we click pretty fast) and possible font differences(for example different browser settings, plus I still have XP). Should have came up with what Janitsu did.

Anyway, it's Dotobuff topic, so http://www.dotabuff.com/players/160739465(this time it's for real).
