Lifestealer I guess, Axe just can't do anything 1 vs 1, so basically any str carry would wreck him. WOuld his passive be disabled by Duel, I would pick LC.

Yes Lifestealer is pretty good against Axe.

My counter to him is Weaver : he can kite Naix around indefinitely and reduce his armor to zero (ignoring magic immunity), which makes short work of him.
Strategy guide : Anti-pubstomper guide.
Hero guides : Spectre , Windranger and Clinkz

Slardar for Nyx. The true sight will screw over Nyx's initiation ability, his general tankiness will make him difficult for Nyx to kill, and Sprint will allow fairly easy escapes.

Would argue on that, Skywrath Mage and Bane are his best counters as he can't do anything when disabled or silenced, plus he is very squishy and won't survive their casts.

I play Weaver a lot, and seriously Skywrath Mage dies in 3 hits. Literally. He has no time to silence anything...they kinda counter each other but honestly I'd put Sky in the weaver food list, just like anything that walks around with 3 armor and no escape skill xD
Bane counters every hero that isn't an illusion hero or Meepo so it's cheating :D

the bad thing about bane is his cast times...

i would say maybe

Disrupter with his instant cast times on 3 of his abilites.

or maybe

Huskar with his ability to survive the combo?

I don't think Huskar is a hard counter to Bane, just let Huskar cast his Life Break and then R>W him.

What about Meepo? Kill him before he lay eggs.

only his w is pure his r isnt. he should survive the combo since at 100 hp he has like 97% magic resist. (probably incredibly wrong but Meh!) haha

i like meepo though
