Just how do pepole first make this?
Okay, i am furious why the page of the workshop is full of this paste. I'd rather look at 'nice' 'awesome' comments, but this words are just filling my screen and i cant have any of this. Yes, it shows enthusiasm but i miss those rather smart critics. Please, just please...

I don't think it is bad at all. I believe it is just so Valve can easily identify the popular items instead of having to read through paragraphs of critiques and compliments that are posted on the item. I have even used it a couple of times, it's nothing like that stupid "bob" thing that was around the new youtube comment section, which was completely irrelevant and was spam. This isn't spam, it's just a quick way of showing that the item is good and if valve sees 20 pages of these things, they can easily tell it is popular. There are also discussions on said item page to discuss about the item, you don't need to do it in the comment section. I don't think it is a problem, at the very least it is relevant.

I do think that it should be simplified. I think Valve people can read abbreviations and such so no need for pwetty pwictures

Why you heff to be mad? I mean seriously, I don't care about it. You sound like a real OCD person. If and item has to be appreciated, just let it be appreciated by the community. It doesn't matter how it is done.

I'm afraid I'm with Unscathed: what's that comment for? The comment section is for feedback, spamming it with useless posts isn't helpful at all. If you want to let Valve know you like the item just press the Like button, it's there for a reason.
