Okay so I was thinking about a couple of things the other day and I wondered: what are the answers to these?
So here is my list, any help will be handy!
1): Last hit or Deny? So say I'm playing mid Death Prophet, we all know those moments when two creeps are at the exact same amount of health, so the question is: Do I last hit the enemy creep, missing the deny, or deny my creep, missing the last hit?
2): Dust or Sentry wards? Say I'm up against an invis hero like Bounty Hunter or Weaver, and we're on the early laning phase. Would dust be better or Sentrys to place on the lane?
3): Should I place both my wards at the start of the game? Should I place both of the wards I purchase at the start of the game somewhere, or should I ward my lane and then save a ward for when the first runs out?
4): When to go for kills? At what amount of health should I initiate on the enemy in lane? Like, 30%? or 50%?
5): Last but not least, this is a pretty broad question: How do I play a roaming support and who are acceptable heroes for this job?
Thanks! I'll edit this post whenever I have new questions!
1. Last Hit
2. If its Weaver, a heroe who uses his inv to run away you get Dust, if it is a hero like Bouty Hunter or Broodmother where u dont know where they ar u get sentry.
3. U should give the second one to ure offlaner that way he can block their pull camp.
4. if u have damage/control enough u can go even if the hero is full HP, make the Counts.
5. Im not in the mood of doing a big list of heroes and explain the reason why they are roaming so ill let this one for the next person.
2) Sentry is a more defensive choice, dust is great for ganking etc.
3) Place your both wards at the start. The stock replenish time is shorter than ward duration, and the vision is just THAT important. A common thing to do is to give the other ward to the offlaner who runs to the lane ASAP and places it before anyone gets to the lane.
4) This depends a lot on the situation. For example, you know where every enemy hero is, lane is pushed to your tower and the enemy offlane is sapping exp close to your tower. You have lots of stuns and three people ready to jump on the enemy. Let's say it's a squishy Bounty Hunter. You can probably kill him even from full health if you have dust and you stack your stuns. But if you have one stun ganking a Puck, it can possibly just dodge the stun and orb away if you don't have much damage. If enemy heroes are missing, it might be wise to not go on enemy at all as it might be a bait with four other heroes waiting for the perfect moment to counter-initiate.
5) I don't really know much about this, so I'll let someone more experienced give you advice :P
5) You can roam with anything that has a good disable and/or a good nuke at LOW levels (< level 4). You need heroes with good early kill potential who are not very level-dependent because roaming leaves you underleveled.

So here is my list, any help will be handy!
1): Last hit or Deny? So say I'm playing mid Death Prophet, we all know those moments when two creeps are at the exact same amount of health, so the question is: Do I last hit the enemy creep, missing the deny, or deny my creep, missing the last hit? make sure 2 creeps arent at the same HP at the same time. or deny the creep and lasthit the other one with a nuke like crypt swarm.
2): Dust or Sentry wards? Say I'm up against an invis hero like Bounty Hunter or Weaver, and we're on the early laning phase. Would dust be better or Sentrys to place on the lane? sentries are used defensive means or zoning. for instance against a static hero like broodmother sentries make sure she cant stay safe in 1 place.
3): Should I place both my wards at the start of the game? Should I place both of the wards I purchase at the start of the game somewhere, or should I ward my lane and then save a ward for when the first runs out? both.
4): When to go for kills? At what amount of health should I initiate on the enemy in lane? Like, 30%? or 50%? when you have enough damage to kill them.
a lane with a visage will have the ability to kill someone from full hp but an abbadon lane wont.
5): Last but not least, this is a pretty broad question: How do I play a roaming support and who are acceptable heroes for this job? has been covered pretty well already.

They missed one roaming support which you don't see often since TI3... roaming Alchemist!
Seriously good fun. Also try roaming Luna I've done it and it's good fun.
Your new diet for heroes; You will need 4 wards (cuz wards taste better), 1 set of tangoes, 1 mango, 1 cheese.
With this you can make a nice Tango Mango Cheese platter. You can wash this all down with a nice bottle of water, Can be flavoured with red, green, yellow, blue, purple AND GOLD!
Caution: Taking roshan 3 times is required.
1): Last hit or Deny? So say I'm playing mid Death Prophet, we all know those moments when two creeps are at the exact same amount of health, so the question is: Do I last hit the enemy creep, missing the deny, or deny my creep, missing the last hit?
When Last Hitting 1 vs 1, try to follow these tips:-
When an Allied Creep and an Enemy Creep are both low, always prioritize getting the Last Hit over the Deny!
This is because choosing to focus the Allied Creep will always cost you the Last Hit, but won't necessarily cost your opponent theirs, especially with DK's mediocre starting Damage.
2): Dust or Sentry wards? Say I'm up against an invis hero like Bounty Hunter or Weaver, and we're on the early laning phase. Would dust be better or Sentrys to place on the lane?
No, this is because at the start of the game, aside from Junglers and Supports, everyone wants to be in the Lane or at least near enough to sap Exp, so Sentry Wards are more effective than Dust to begin with.
When Bounty Hunter hits level 3 he'll be ready to Gank (assuming someone good is playing him), so you may want to switch up to Dust around this point as you can't say that he's going to stay near the Lane any more, makin Sentries less effective.
3): Should I place both my wards at the start of the game? Should I place both of the wards I purchase at the start of the game somewhere, or should I ward my lane and then save a ward for when the first runs out?
Place Wards when you need vision, where you need vision. If you feel your Team only needs the Vision from hte one ward, then feel free to hoard the other one. This is unlikely against smart opponents, as there will always be a risk of Ganks, so the more Vision the better. Pubs? not so important, becuz sittin in lane to gud.
At what amount of health should I initiate on the enemy in lane? Like, 30%? or 50%?
In Terms of Dual vs Dual Lane, it depends on how much Damage you can reliably land during the Gank, e.g. lvl1 Frostbite + Bladefury is 80 + 75 Damage over 1.5 seconds they can't run from, then if they can't run awway from Jugg, there's another 80 over 3.5 seconds to come for a total of 505 Magical Damage, add in 3 auto attacks from CM about 120 Phys Damage) and against an opponent with 3 Armour and 25% Magical Resistance, you've got about 480.5 Damage there. Anything under 400HP would be easy First Blood.
So basically, it's usually a static number early on, just calculate how much burst and how amny auto-attacks at what damage you think you can get in, then do a rough estimate.
Of course in a decent Tri-Lane, you don't give a **** how much HP they have, you just need a solid Initiation to Kill whatever you want. 8{D
5): Last but not least, this is a pretty broad question: How do I play a roaming support and who are acceptable heroes for this job?
By roaming...
Any Hero that can set up Kills properly with minimal Exp and nothing more than starting Items. Just make sure that your Farmers don't need babysitting before considering roaming. You can even play Roaming Pudge or Mirana or Juggernaut or even Kunkka if you know what you're doing and have a good enough Team.
Also bear in mind, that in a high-skill match, if a Roaming Support goes round rampaging and destroying the other Team, they might just have slightly more Farm than the other Team's Supports...it's a hard life. T-T
