Dagon is a very useful item that is flexible and versatile.

Dagon can and should be picked up on almost all Intelligence heroes.

Dagon is also a good item to pick up on strength heroes because it will enhance their manapools.

Dagon should also be picked up on heroes that don'e have a great nuke such as Warlock

Dagon can be picked up by agility heroes if that particular agility hero is playing the ganker or solo middle roles.

Dagon should not be used on a hero that has more than two big nukes ( Nevermore )

Dagon should not be used on support heroes that have grasping abilities like Shadow Shaman

Use Dagon wisely and pick it up when necessary.

Dagon is a bit underrated tbh. It's not like the item is useless or anything.

It lacks utility though, if you're not a ganking machine like Tinker or (situationally) Nyx Assassin then it's too situational to matter.

A similar amount of money could get you a Mekansm or Blink Dagger.

Not that Dagon is that bad, it's just way more beneficial to get other items for a close price.

Can someone please stop this guy? it's a bit annoying, all his posts are about dagon and trolling. I havenn't seen any critical feed back from him ever.

Lets be fair to the troll.

There is one situation where Dagon is worthwhile. Ganky Tinker can legitimately build it as his thrid or fourth item.

Then again, Tinker is a hero with lots of strong nukes, which a Dagon just adds to, so Pu12e is still wrong about when to pick it up.
