So 4 new hereos are in captains mode and are soon to be in tournament mode.
I was wondering what the community thought the role and impact of each of these hereos will be.
Centaur Warrunner , I'm thinking used in an agressive trilane due to his early burst damage. Abaddon, a situational support, great for countering DoT harassment. Troll Warlord, I'm not sure if he is a hard carry or could be a possible mid. Elder Titan, I don't have a clue!
I don't know about the impact these will make in the pro scene, if at all.
Don't know about centaur, if this was pre- 6.75 patch he would be one of the most OP heroes, his ulti is honestly really bad right now, especially at 6. It's situationally useful, probably as a smoke gank aid - but 120 sec cooldown for that? Don't think so. He could possibly be a blink stomp initiator, but his AOE is lackluster for that. As a pure tank, I don't think he'll be that great and tanks aren't that good in pro matches.
Abaddon is good. Depending on how many use him to great effect (Quantic and Na'Vi, anyone?) he might be a top pick or be completely forgotten.
Troll will probably be drafted in pushing line ups as a #2 or #3 semi-carry. A situational pick, but we'll most likely be seeing him.
Elder titan will most likely be a top pick IMO if not a top ban, or at least a second ban/pick.
Abaddon I expect will get some play in aggressive tri-lanes - his Mist/Shield combo is fantastic for counter-initiating and makes it very difficult to kill his allies early game.
Troll Warlord - yep, great carry, might even be seen as a mid. He's quite flexible in terms of when to roll with him.
Elder Titan - off-laner or tri-lane support, great team fight.
Centaur Warrunner - yeah kinda difficult to see where he fits, or why you'd particularly want him. Maybe in a team with Magnus.
I would play Abaddon on defensive tri lane to avoid harassment from agressive tri lane.

Elder Titan could be really good in an aggressive trilane. Troll Warlord, might go mid, might be picked for push heavy strats. Abaddon, well what do you know, Visage pickers just got to hell. Centaur Warrunner , tough one, he can either mid or just be in a trilane.
Centaur Warrunner , Dunno about him.
Abaddon, Can be used in both def/off tri-lane
Troll Warlord, Pushing lineup who can snowball into a decent carry
Elder Titan, FINALY!!! To those who say he is ****, go watch some old-school wc3 dota. This guy is so amazing. Off-lane, mid, tri-lane, initiator, tanky you name it. He is just so damn versatile!
Centaur: He could be a good mid against non-dominating mids, like QoP. Troll: Doubt he'll be picked much besides perhaps push strats, because he CAN take a tower/rax very quickly, but that's really all he's great for as a carry, other carries surpass him in a lot of other ways. Elder Titan: A lot of pros have been asked this already, and they just aren't sure. His problem is, where do you lane him? He suffers the same problem as Earthshaker, everyone knows he can be good, but he tends to need more farm than your average support. He's mana reliant, and in ET's case, he's very temperamental in a trilane situation. Abaddon: I can see him being a decent defensive trilane hero, since his shield does remove stuns and such.
Abaddon's popularity will probably spike first, because of his role and abilities are pretty straight forward. His shield buff is incredibly effective, and his ult will essentially force teams to re-think team picks.
Elder Titan, on the other hand, has a bit of an unorthodox (but effective) team presence and will need a little more work out of teams in order to get a sufficient pay off. However, once teams take the initiative to work out the team composition and laning, I believe we'll see his popularity rise exponentially.
I think Troll Warlord's ult is just too good for teams to pass up. 30 second cooldown, anyone? That can break the other team's base late game after just one good team fight.
