The only times when I have played in trilanes are when I played in the in-house or in stacks. Hence, obviously I have little to no exp with trilanes. Then, today I found this image.

Could anyone add more details to this?

TL;DR
Give me tips for trilanes please.

That's a pretty good basic guide, although things are rarely so straight forward.

I could suggest a bunch of stuff, but instead I'll just point you at this by Peppo:

It might seem a bit impolite to ask but...at which mmr are you usually playing?
At 2.5 k rougly 10% of my games contained trilanes.
The closer I am to reaching 3k the higher this number seems to get.

Ultra, can you please tell me where you found that image? It's really interesting and I might want to use it somewhere, someday.

Basically:-
  • never have all 3 Heroes clumped up in the Lane leeching Exp off of each other unless they are there to get a Kill, you should be trying to leave as much of the Exp as possible for your Safe Laner, so he/she hits a fast lvl6
  • Always be looking to get a Kill on the Offlane in order to secure your Laner's Farm
  • Tri-Lane Supports can and should try to Rotate and Gank other Lanes, i.e. Mid and should also make the most of their time by Stacking and placing Wards where possible.

As a Laner:-
  • make sure you help the Supports when they go for Kills, missing a couple of Last Hits to get a Kill is more than worth it and gives you Free Farm until the Offlaner(s) returns.
  • Use effective Creep control - you don't want to have your Supports Pulling the Creep Wave under the Tower, so make sure you use tricks such as Aggroing Creeps to your Ranged Creep to keep the Creep Wave from Pushing out. It's easier to win your Lane if the Offlaner has to come far enough from his Tower that he's susceptible to Ganks whenever he's in Exp Range
  • If your Supports leave to Gank Mid, consider Pushing the Creep Wave out as fast as you can, then Rotate into the Jungle to Farm a Neutral Camp or 2 while the Wave pushes back. Pushing the Creep Wave under the Tower might give the other team's Offlaner free Exp and a few Last Hits, but it also gives you vision under their Tower (make shift Lane Ward). If you don't see the Offlaner farming this, they're either Stacking Ancients, Ganking elsewhere, or GANKING YOU!!! Due to the Tower killing your Creeps quickly, you usually only end up missing on on 2 or 3 Last Hits from a Wave, easily made up for by the Neutral Camp

As a Support:-
  • Kill the Offlaner! If you can't kill them, Zone them out of Exp range. If the Offlaner comes anywhere near the Creep Wave, consider standing your ground and trading attacks with them, some Offlaners and Supports are better than trading than others. Some Supports can also Harrass with certain Abilities if you have the Mana to spam them, e.g. Aphotic Shield, Arcane Bolt, Frostbite, Mana Drain, Riptide, Voodoo Restoration (by healing yourself as you right click, they get low and need to use Tangoes, you don't)
  • If the Offlaner is under his Tower, stand a litle way back to make sure he stays there, if someone else is doing this, consider going elsewhere to Stack or place wards.
  • If your Laner can hold their own, go Gank Mid, Farm the Jungle, Stack, place Wards or perhaps even sap Exp from the Safe Lane, taking Last Hits if your Laner rotates into the Jungle

You're gonna use it in that guide of yours for which you were asking dota2 terminologies?

Nah, that guide is for noobies and they can't even lane, let alone trilane :) but it might be interesting for other purposes, including some coaching I've been doing
