what gives him farming capability? I don't see any AoE, although If you went Maelstrom or something with Tempest it could work but that seems like a waste of ult to just farm. But yeah he is really strong too. That ult is insanity.

Dual midas. mid till 6 get dual midas and watch how you go from lvl 6 at 5 mins to lvl 10 at 7 mins and lvl 16 at 16. ive played him in Dota1 and you basically win mid midas and then stack ancients meantime then clear ancients when u have maelstrom and laugh at the fact that you have a net worth at 10 mins that is 3-4 times the enemy.

and thats not the worst part.... try ganking the ****er and watch how your supports die to 6 wraiths at lvl 2 then oh look you have wasted your spells but na dont worry ill right click twice and he will die... na uh 100% evasion and incresed attack speed bro and watch how he just melts your face.

the reason why he isnt in dota is because they have NO idea how they will balance him with out completly nerfing him into the ground.

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

First, before I complain about Arc Warden like I love to do (after all, I left Dota 1 to get away from him).

We will have to see how teams run Armpit Lord, it would depend on the meta. He's a powerful early pusher core due to his rapid farm speed and his power to quickly switch lanes with his team, with the potential to be a greedy support, since he's quite level dependent. Like how Bloodseeker is suited to carry this patch, where last patch, he was better as jungle utility support.

Now to share Arc Warden experiences. I've never beaten a competent Arc Warden in a solo mid, I tried many times with heroes like Lich and Brewmaster, but the flux spam, the spark wraith traps on the lane and runes just made it impossible, especially since the wraiths lasted 50 whole seconds, so you run out of places to hide from them pretty quick. The only hero that would eat Arc Warden mid is Broodmother.

Once he gets Midas and Travels, you lose. He grabs Necrobook and sends his clone to push risk-free across the map while you keep trying to catch him, he can get a manta, and then suddenly, you can be up against 5 wardens and 4 necronomicon soldiers. His triple-midas gives him GPM that is absurd, while he's pressuring 2 lanes at once, and he can't be killed by any one hero except Storm Spirit or Spectre because he'll just magnetic field you and kill you.

Also, his double doesn't drop Rapier on death. I've played Dota games where the Arc Warden got MoM-Divine, and just used it to kill people and towers in seconds, and killing the double did nothing, the end was still inevitable, no one could go alone, since the double would kill them, and he used it to chip the towers, making him a rat that put pre 6.81 Terrorblade to shame.

It also works with Dagon. In a mass leaver game, the Warden grabbed a Dagon 5 and E-blade, and Tempest Doubled himself to double lazor people in the face.

If Icefrog wanted to balance the hero, just buff his base stats so they are less terrible, and then have midas not refresh cooldown every time he resummons his double, just have it have its own cooldown, like Lone Druid's bear (still better, he only needs to build 1), and disallow the copying of Gems and divines.
A few nerfs to his laning would be appreciated too, like a reduction in Spark Wraith duration, and a weakening of Magnetic Field's evasion, because 100% for everyone is insane.

Pit Lord is extremly good at laning thanks to his aura. Just firestorm a creep wave and then get free trades because you just gained 20 damage from all the dead creeps for a couple seconds. Drop a Pit of Malice as well to catch the enemy so the creeps can wail on him as well.

I concur, Abyssal Underlord (screw you guys. You still refuse to say Windrunner) is an offlaner.

-Tank *** hero
-Screws up the lane with Firestorm
-Can trade with supports via Atrophy Aura
-Screws up the carry with Atrophy Aura
-Semi-escape with Pit of Malice + walking away cause you're tanky

He's made for the job.

I kinda miss his corpse explosion though.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

God Arc Warden sounds more broken in recollections than he does on paper - And he's not exactly the most fair thing on paper either. Kyfrog, pls nerf before porting him into this to save our poor poor pubs.

Also about Abyssal Overlord - The only issue with him in the offlane is that he's going to constantly push the wave out with his Aura isn't he? Which is problematic for an offlaner that has no fall back option. Like I guess the fact he is tanky and that he's thus really hard to zone, plus can trade really well like a Tide or a Cent might compensate for it but it makes me a liitle apprehensive.

I think he might get used like a Naga Siren support instead, in that you are this really tanky, relatively fast pretty greedy support.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Overpushing the wave in the offlane is actually even better than pulling it. Just look at Dark Seer for example. Push the wave under the enemy tower, screw up the enemy carry's last hitting, and then bam it comes right back.

Not just that, he is one if not the best heroes to contest a pull. Just run there, drop a firestorm, and let the money roll in.
