I had my account stolen two or so years ago.


Good luck dealing with Steam support.

It took them two-three weeks just to reply back.

I don't really care about that, I can add back everyone pretty much. And the commendations don't matter either, neither do the items. It's all about the games. I have a lot of games and money spent on that account + the progress on all the games I have.

Nobody would.(out of people I know). And my security questions are rather hard to answer. Nobody knows the answers, they are way too personal.

Things like this always make me worry about my own.

I'm extremely cautious, and I only add people on Steam who I know in real life, but it does make me worry when someone is adamant that didn't download anything dodgy.

Hope this gets resolved for you. Steam Support isn't the fastest service unfortunately, but if you can provide details regarding payment options and credentials associated with the account, you should get it back I'd imagine. Fingers crossed.
