Making this thread to see who you guys' "instapick" heroes are in the new patch. Who is it?

I think im going to try Huskar out. With the age of INT carries Huskar is one piece of *** that could be a force to be reckoned with. Besides, I really want to try out Octarine Core on him. Combined with aghs he is insanely strong, and the Burning Spears are also great. Solar Crest sounds interesting too as I sometimes build Medallion of Courage on him.

I also want to play Nature's Prophet more. He got some pretty good buffs this patch and I plan to rat more raxes in the near future.

Keeper of the Light sounds disgustingly interesting too.

Probably the same mix of supports; Earthshaker, Lion, and Rubik. Might mix it up with some added Kotl, and occasionally some cores. But at my level of play, carrying CC is arguably more important than anything else so same heroes for me.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Who am I going to instapick every match? If it's just me I'm going to pick Shadow Demon. That Aghs buff is just so amazing and I really want to find the most viable build that includes Aghs. I'm thinking Arcane/Tranqs, into Urn, into Aghs, then go for other items like Eul's. I would also like to try Enigma with an Octarine Core. Taking 45 seconds off of Black Hole's cooldown would be amazing.

If we're talking about who everyone is going to instapick. Axe is probably still up there, as well as Storm Spirit, I have a feeling that Lone Druid might also get a lot of competitive play. Not just with his buffs and Aghs upgrade, but also because of the buff to Radiance. Same goes for Spectre. I can see Nature's Prophet getting picked again because of that change to his ultimate. Nyx Assassin might also see some play again as getting Aghs would be a nice little addition on him. I mean what items do you usually get on him? Arcane's, Dagon, Blink, Force, maybe E-blade or sheep stick? Aghs seems that it would be a good addition to his roster now.

Now with Sniper becoming trash tier again I don't think we'll be seeing as many Spirit Breaker picks as before, which I'm fine with.

I honestly don't know where these changes will take Dota, but hopefully it's to a better place than where it is right now.

I agree with KotL. I despise the hero, but i think it might be time to learn him. With the right lineup Chakra Magic is so good now.

Alchemist -- Lifestealer -- Spirit Breaker -- Crystal Maiden -- Wraith King

Alchemist provides the three needed Aghs, while Crystal Maiden infests Lifestealer that infests Spirit Breaker that charges - Wraith King arrives with the new BoT and if anything goes wrong everybody returns as wraiths to finish people off. BUAHAHAHAH HAVE FUN

PS: Crystal Maiden with Glimmer Cape and Octarine Core, of course. Carry Maiden for eva

I'll pick Crystal Maiden, she got really nice buffs, and although I dislike Shadow Blade I can see glimmer cape being a really nice pick up due to the cheap cost and it gives crazy good magic resistance, which is always nice on a squishy support.

Leshrekt of course. Rush Octarine win game :)

Other that that I think I'm going to play a lot of the strength carries especially Tiny and Sven since they got buffed indirectly a lot with silver edge and moonstone. Tiny especially I think is a much stronger carry than he used to be since his 6-slot is wayyy wayyy better...especially with an Alch on your team.

Legion Commander...she may even be viable as a jungler now. Gonna try it out.

Lone Druid, the ultimate rat. Radiance into Aghs new meta? Maybe you can even build Force Staff on the bear for better ratting :)

Doom, since he now disables EVERY passive. Finally goodbye Fervor. And silver edge is probably better than blink in every way on him now with his new cast point (I just had a game where I had big troubles dooming a Storm, he would just zip away before I could get it off. Now with a shadowblade you don't have that problem)

Lich : Chain Frost projectile speed shouldn't be underestimated. You can probably set it up with a Blink Dagger and a Shiva's Guard. A farmed Lich sounds really scary actually now.

Enchantress if the patch made her viable...but I'm not yet sure. She looks really fun at least. outworld devourer and Silencer as well. These heroes sound sick with +120 attack speed.

Broodmother with deso or skadi is probably ridiculous

Slark and Shadow Fiend got big indirect buffs and are probably the next 6.84 pubstompers...since the meta advantages them as well.

Support Morphling if his Aghs is good is likely to be the new rage.

And... Crystal Maiden. 90 second cooldown is exactly what I wanted. Since she's a bit of a walking ult anyways. And her Q is viable now. By the way now you can blink in, cast Q, and ult, and you get a 100% slow :)
Why would you ever get glimmer cape over BKB on CM??? BKB gives magic resistance you know. Or maybe glimmer cape for solo kills with ult, why not, this way you don't waste BKB charges.
Carry maiden with blink/bkb/aghs/refresher/octarine. Say your prayers :)
