Introduction

Hello Internet and Dota 2 player, my name is SleepyBoy1998, and my game name is [B4UC]_ME. Today I am making a guide on one of my favorite hero: Leshrac. He is support/pusher/nuker with a lot of teamfight AOE spells that deals tons of damage, for example his second skill Diabolic Edict can deal colossal damage to hero, creeps and Structures ( towers, barracks, etc.). If you want to know more about the hero himself, here is a Dotacinema introduction video about him.

P.S: This hero is not for NEWBIES!!!

Good and Bad things about the Hero

Pros:
- Low cooldowns spell
- 4 NUKING spell that deals tons of damage
- Best tower pusher ever
- High intel gain ( +3)

Cons:
- Low health
- Need Practices to be effective

His Skills

1.Split Earth

Range: 750
Radius: 150/175/200/225
Stun Duration: 2
Stun Delay: 0.35
Damage: 120/180/240/300
Cooldown 9 Mana 100/125/140/160

Twisting nature to his vile will, the shifting earth consumes those unlucky enough to cross Leshrac's path.

This skill is awesome for setting up kills, since it is an AOE stuns that deals lots of damage. Just remmeber that the skill has an 0.35 seconds delay so aimming it could be a problem for newbies.

2.Diabolic Edict

Radius: 500
Duration: 8
Number Of Explosions: 32
Explosion Damage: 12.5/25/37.5/50
Total Damage: 400/800/1200/1600
Cooldown 22 Mana 95/120/135/155

Chronoptic energy bursts from one plane to the other, evaporating anything it touches.

This skill, is BROKEN. It is OP as ball. At lvl 4, this skill could help you take down an easy tower since the damage is 1600. Again, possition him is a must since the skill will surround Leshrac with RANDOM explosions, so you have to stand a point where it will only hit the tower or the targeted hero.

3.Lightning Storm

Range: 700
Jump distance: 650
Number Of Jumps: 4/5/6/7
Damage: 80/140/200/260
Slow: 75%
Slow Duration: 0.5
Cooldown 4 Mana 90/100/110/120

Partially blocked by Linken's Sphere. Blocked on primary target. Otherwise blocks damage but does not stop bounces. Briefly slows targets hit.

The Tormented Soul's mastery of the elements is evident in the massive storms that strike down armies before him.

This is his 3rd nuke skill. It has a massive slow that is also very OP. In combonation with your first skill "Split Earth", it will kill an entire Creep wave. In teamfight, this will messed their entire team up and because of it slow, your stuns will be easier to hit multiple targets.

4.Pulse Nova

Radius: 450
Mana Cost per Second: 20/40/60
Damage per Second: 66/100/144 (100/150/200*)
Cooldown 1 Mana 110

Can be Improved by Aghanim's Scepter (* shows the improved values). Increases damage.

If necessary, the Tormented Soul can manipulate space time itself, ravaging lesser beings.

This is an awesome ultimate. In conjuction with your other skills, there is no surpise that at least 1 enemy hero will fall to your hand in the mid game. Remember, the name of the game is "the more mana you have, the more damage you will do" since the skill burns a lot of mana. That is why Bloodstone is a MUST on this hero.

Items build

1. Starting items

Observer Ward or Animal Courier: Since you are a support hero, get either one this item.

Tango, Healing Salve: Basic Regen, nothing much to say

Iron Branch: Basic stats items to turn into a Magic Wand later

Clarity: If you have spare money, getting a couple of this is not a bad idea in the first few minutes of the game.

2. Early Game items

Observer Ward and Sentry Ward: This two items MUST be on your high priority, since you are playing as a support, you have to warding and dewarding. I will explain how to do so in this next chapter.

Flying Courier: Again, you are a support, so get this at your earliest convenience. Don't let your teamate rage because the team don't have a flying courier, this thing could be important as some point of the game.

Urn of Shadows: It is cheap, it gives you a ok heal, I like getting an Urn since I have to babysit a squishy carry at the early game, so getting it could save him his percious time getting back to base to heal up when he is out of regen.

Boots of Speed: More movement speeds, the thing you need to possition yourself. YAY!!!

3. Mid Game Items

Observer Ward and Sentry Ward: Still High PRIORITY

Arcane Boots: The right boots for Leshrac. It not only give you but also your teamates a quick mana boost, and in the later stages of the game, when Mana is not a problem anymore, you could disassemble it and make a Bloodstone

Mekansm: Every support core items. It gives you a bit tankiness and your entire team 250 heal. At this point, if you are running low on money, you could sell the Urn of Shadows to get the gold you need to complete it.

4. Core Items

Bloodstone: This thing is awesome. It gives you 200% mana regeneration, 400 HP, +9 HP regeneration, 400 mana and +10 Damage. The best thing is the more charges you have, the more mana you will regen. With this baby, you can put your ultimate Pulse Nova for as long as you want, and burn your enemy to the ground!!!!

Aghanim's Scepter: This thing in combination with Bloodstone will deal TONS of DAMAGE to your enemy team ( except those who have Black King Bar ). It will took some time to pick it up since Wards are still high priority.

P.S: Get it or not, it is all player prefrence.

5. Luxury Items

Boots of Travel: You run faster, who doesn't want that? Getting this and you will fly to your teamate at the time of needs.

Shiva's Guard: Gives you tankiness, Intel, and a huge nuke, a good choice for an int hero like Leshrac himself.

Scythe of Vyse: Good mana regeneration, intel and a funny but powerful disable ( turn them into pigs). Great items for ganking a solo pushing hero like Nature's Prophet.

Ethereal Blade: That is one way to deal with those nasty right clickers, and deal tons of damage to them. Just remember that you will recieve 40% extra damage from magical nuke, so be carefull when using it or you might get ONE SHOTTED!!!

Black King Bar: This will take care of the enemy team nuker aimming on a squishy support hero like you. And it make you feel free to activate all of your spell without being free of getting stunned.

Gameplay

1. Early game

Your role is a support, so don't take farm away from your carry. Don't ever do it, or you might be reported for being an annoyance. At this moment, you should go pulling and dewarding like a good support do. If need you have to come and help you carry secure a kill.
These are the location you can pull creeps
And the location for you to ward, deward and BLOCK CAMP
If you want to know more about these methods, check out Dotacinema Guide on how to do BOTH of these.

This is the Basic Warding place:
And this is the Pulling guide:
2. Mid Game

The time has come, take down as much tower as possible with your Diabolic Edict, just do it, it will help your team a lot
Taking down tower LIKE A BOSS!

If needed, you could set up a good stun that can turn the tide of a battle
A 2 man stun that will secure a double kill for Leshrac

If you are in a team fight, USE ALL OF YOUR SKILL!!!! The normal combo for him is Lightning Storm Split Earth Diabolic Edict Lightning Storm Pulse Nova. This combo will deal lots of damage and that is what your team need.
This Leshrac seems to be in a lot of trouble. If he dies, at least Kunkka dies with him.

3. Late Game

In the late game, you are weaker than other players. But that doesn't mean you can't do anything. At this momment, you are probably have a Bloodstone or if you are in good shape, a Aghanim's Scepter. So spam that ultimate of your in team fight and try to asure victory to your teammate.

Burn them all!

Friends And Foes

1. Friends
- Carries: Drow Ranger, Sniper, Phantom Assassin,...
They will love your stun
- Disabler: Nature's Prophet, Lion, Lina,...
Epic chain disable action
- Anyone when it comes to Tower Pushing

2. Foes
- Doom Bringer: His Doom will basically turn you into a walking creep.
- Pugna: You have low health and your skillset cost lots of mana. His Nether Ward will KILL you after a combo
- Nukers: One shot ( since your health pool is LOW)
- Anti Mage, Nyx Assassin: Mana burners, annoying as @$*!
- Sliencer: Even more annoying than Mana Burners. When you got silenced, you can't turn off your ulti. You can only watch your Mana gone bye bye.

Ending

That is it for my guide. Leshrac is a hero that doesn't need that much items to be effective. But he tooks practices to be so. Here is montage video about the one and only DENDI plays Lehsrac
P.S: I am sorry for not finding a good Teamfight Leshrac pic, but I can't access to my replay to get them right now.
