I post videos about Dota 2 strategies, and other fun stuff regarding Dota.

Silly boy, if you're here it's because you just picked the JUG OR NOT at random or something like that, and you don't know his true power. This is a very easy guide for him that guarantees your victory if your team isn't absolute ****. FOLLOW IT WITH YOUR HEART

It's gonna be a fast and clear guide, i don't have much time to explain the stuff now, but i will add more giant informations if necessary.

Juggernaut (or YURNEROOOOOOOOOOO) is a hero best played on a lane. See your best partners at the Team Work chapter.

Yurnero the Juggernaut's Lore

No one has ever seen the face hidden beneath the mask of Juggernaut--it is only speculation that he even has one. For defying a corrupt lord, he was exiled from the ancient Isle of Masks; a punishment that saved his life. The isle soon after vanished beneath the waves in a night of vengeful magic. He alone remains to carry on the Isle's long tradition of ritual and swordplay. The last practicioner of his art, Juggernaut's confidence and courage are the result of endless practice; his inventive bladework proves that he has never stopped challenging himself. Still, his motives are as unreadable as his expression. For a hero who has lost everything twice over, he fights as if victory is a foregone conclusion.

Pros/Cons

PS: See Build 2 for my experimental build

Pro's
- Good if you're trying first blood
- His ultimate is good the entire game
- Blade fury is a free Black King Bar
- Can dominate the lane if you have a partner with a good slow/stun
- Can carry late game, even thought he's not THAT carry
- Fast
- Blade Fury is amazing early game

Cons's
- Low mana
- Using Ult/Blade Fury combo will drain pretty much your entire mana
- Depends on items. If you can't get Battle Fury, you won't be able to farm quickly and will be useless on the game
- Haves no stun or slow
- You can't carry unless you get some kills with your Blade Fury early game

Items

EXPERIMENTAL BUILD

REMEMBER: Juggernaut's ability to carry comes only if you get early kills to finish Battle Fury fast. This is extremely easy if you have someone with a slow on your lane. Have him slow - you spin the slowed enemy to death. If you get 2 or 3 kills this way on the beginning you have a high chance of winning the game.

CHECK BUILD 2 TO SEE THE ORDER
First: Start with a tango, healing salve, a branch, the ring of protection and a slippers of agility.

Now you gotta finish that Ring of Basilius, buy a Boots of Speed, a Ring of Health to make your laning easier, Wraith Band to finish your Ring of Aquila, and after that you can finish your Magic Wand to avoid mana problems. I normally would get Bottle but the stats from the wand help him a lot. But if you get Bottle you can hear he saying DOES IT MATTER IF I PUT THIS ON MY JUG OR NOT? GET IT? JUGGERNAUT
andSecond: Finish those damn boots and rush for your bfury.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR you can buy the Boots of Speed and DIRECTLY go for Battle Fury, leaving the other items for after it. It's a bit risky but you can finish the bfury super fast.
Now, this **** is what makes you a boss. Desolator makes you crit so hard that you pretty much don't need more damage items.
Since last update, Jugger with scepter is good. Tons of new slashes = tons of new dead enemies.

After this, you can either get a Manta Style, a Butterfly, a Skull Basher you can just save for buyback. It looks like it is tons of items and gold but battle fury makes everything easier.

COMMON BUILD

First: Your starting items should be: 2 sets of tangoes / Healing salve / one iron branch / Stout shield.
Second: Finish your Poor Man's Shield by buying the 2 Slippers of agility. They can be bought at the secret shop so you will be able to get them pretty fast. Need to get something to block that damage (and the bonus agility is always nice). If you got Jugger through random, you will be able to get one of them right from the start.
ORThird: Now you're free to go to the Phase Boots (Get Power Treads on Strenght or Agility if you prefer hitting faster instead of harder. I prefer putting it on strenght and a bit later on the game changing to agility). I prefer it over the Treads because the active speed skill lets you catch up people with Blade Fury and also it helps alot to move through the map.
Fourth: OH MY GOD READ THIS CAREFULLY BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT MAKES YOU GOOD. Once laning phase is over you should be level 8 and already have your Critical skill. Head to jungle and try to finish Battle Fury ( Perseverance + Broadsword + Claymore) as fast as possible. With it, farming is extremely easy, and you won't have problems in the late game where your Blade Fury will start to get useless. You get that Blade Fury because it renders you immune to magic and deals damage to everyone on the bey blade range. At the late game, the damage will get so useless that you will only use the spin to run away to avoid getting targeted by a magic. With Battle Fury you get your secondary Blade Fury. It doesn't make you immune but does a lot of damage and it's permanent. And farming gets a LOT easier.
Fifth: PS: If you opt for Satanic instead of scepter, make a Helm of the Dominator before SnY. Sange and Yasha THE BLADES OF THE MIGHTY YURNERO are your next item. Now that you are so damn fast and strong you need to match the swiftness of your blade and be even more faster, and in addition to that your Sange will slow the opponent, making them easy preys if they get away from the Omnislash.
Desolator is also an amazing item to get for jugger. You can get it before SnY if you like it.
Sixth: You will have won the game by now, but just in case the enemy still thinks he can beat you, get a Butterfly to get some evasion, and EVEN MORE DAMN AGILITY TO YOUR ATTACKS. OR you can avoid this and get a Scepter first.
orAt last, this is very hard to happen, but if you finished butterfly and the game isn't over (you will probably be winning) get a Aghanim's Scepter to boost your ult so they don't run away with 1 hp. But i have been experiencing changing this with Satanic. I will put more info when i discover more stuff.

If you feel the urge of having a life steal, Vladmir's Offering works well with Jugger, so you can get it after your Battle Fury. Blade Fury is your magic protection, but if it's not being enough and you're getting stunned and stuff even with it, you can get a Black King Bar to solve it.

Skills

Blade Fury: Causes a bladestorm of destructive force around the Juggernaut, rendering him immune to magic and dealing damage to nearby enemy units.

Bey blade / spin / blablabla / "OMFG GAREN COPYCAT EVEN THOUGHT HE CAME OUT YEARS BEFORE". It's why you're the Juggernaut. At the beginning of the game this destroys everything. You need to max it as soon as possible and if you manage to get some kills at the beginning of the game with it you will get very strong fast.
Healing Ward: Summons a Healing Ward that heals all nearby allied units' life.

Helps alot when you're taking out Roshan / a tower / or when you are into a team fight and there's so much skills going on that the enemy doesn't notice a little green ward.
Blade Dance: Juggernaut's cunning blade gives him a chance to deal double damage on each attack.

Combined with battle fury (not blade fury!), it deals tons of damage to the enemies near you.
Omnislash: The Juggernaut moves around the battlefield, slashing many enemies. The Juggernaut becomes invulnerable while Omnislashing. The search area is 450.

This should be in cooldown everytime. Jumps onto random opponents dealing damage. This also can jump onto creeps, so watch out where you use it. When it's just you and some enemy hero, it's basically insta death to him. You can combo Omnislash - Spin to make sure someone will die, but it takes pretty much all your mana.

Juggernaut needs a power up at the beginning, so you get some stats points on level 2 and 4. If you're having problems, you can get 3 stats points on levels 14/15/17 instead of the healing wards. Also, you can get another Blade Dance at level 9 instead of the Healing Ward if you want, too. It's just my preference.

Team Work

Ultimate best partners: Shadow Shaman, Lich, Venomancer
A Shackled opponent + Blade fury = unstoppable lane. Go with him whenever there's a shadow shaman on your team.

Pretty much every teammate with a big slow / stun makes your life easy.

Blade Fury - The skill for everything

Opponent is running away and normal attacks won't help? Spin.
You are sure you will be ganked but you can't run away? Spin.
Pudge hooked you? SPIN (read)
Are yo- Spin.
Spinning makes you unable to be targetted by magic ( Anti-Mage loves Yurnero). This works wonders specially against Pudge. If he hooks you, SPIN INSTANTLY. Even if he manages to ult you, you won't take any damage. You will even be able to wander around in parts where you know he is there, since he will think twice if he will try to take you.

At the late game, where i said that Blade Fury will get useless in the matter of not doing that big damage anymore, it will get more usefull as you will be able to cheat death by escaping a gank spinning while your enemies foolishly try to follow you in the hope you stop spinning in time.

Even if in the late game it won't do the damage you need, you can spin at the beginning of a battle where all those skills will come out to avoid getting silenced / targeted by something like Doom Bringer's ult.

!!!PS: A good thing to do if you need to escape is to Spin + Town Portal Scroll. Since you can't get stunned, you will be able to escape freely.!!!

Creeping / Jungling

Try to get the max of last hits you can at the beginning so you can go to the jungle faster when you "win" your lane. The faster you get your battle fury, the faster you will be able to wander around doing whatever you want.
