Just finished watching your "how to win a lane" vid Angelo, and I think stuff like that is very useful for showing people how to claw back those difficult ones. It's especially useful for demonstrating your mindset and what you were thinking as you went in for those plays, why you're doing what you're doing, and what the trade offs are. Think the shorter length also works as it's easier to digest fewer thoughts on a more specific area.
Hopefully this comes across as constructive criticism - think there's a few things you could add. What was your thinking about their lane combo against your own? Things like how many stuns they have, who has better harass damage, and things to look out for positioning wise (e.g. Timbersaw and bonus tree damage). It could also be worth looking at another example of a different way of winning a lane - more through denial, lane control and slowly accruing an advantage.
That's a great suggestion. I'm also glad that you liked the shorter version, and especially because you explained why you liked it more. I definitely take it as constructive criticism. I'm thinking my next one could be on tri lane composition, picks, and which lane to assign you tri to. Then I'll be able to go a bit more in depth, and hopefully you'll like that one a bit more. Thanks again for the feedback and advice.
I really enjoyed the video and the advice you give is really,REALLY good. The time when you save the Troll Warlord by body blocking, killing Timbersaw with the help of doom bringer might be one of the best pieces of advice that game(at least in my opinion),as I don't see people body-block that much.
Bump time. I updated my first post with my newest cast on making a trilane. Plus I play muh bezt hero: Shadow Demon. I tried to continue what I started with my "How to win your lane" video: Videos that are short and to the point, focusing on one hero (In both cases so far, myself), on one aspect of them game. Lemme know what you think. How it compares to my other videos, comments/questions/suggestions... Especially suggestions for my next cast! If there isn't a game you'd like me to cast, maybe there's another part of the game you'd like me to cast on. The next one I was thinking of doing was "Leaving your lane". I see a lot of players overly commit to their lane, even if they should be doing other things. I'd probably cover smokes as well in that cast.
Anyway, bump the thread with some feedback so I can continue to better my casts.
Edit: Hm, sorry guys. Apparently it only uploaded SOME of the video for some reason. I'll reupload it now. Should be done in a few hours. -_-
Not so much a "Replaycast" but I recorded myself playing Live with the best carry player I've ever played with, "ShieLD" from StarCraft. Skype call included! If you guys like games like this, maybe I can record our 5 man games with the skype call and you might enjoy those as well? I dunno. Give me some feedback! :D
