He has the highest single target DPS in the late game. He is also very good against towers, as you know, because little of his damage is meant exclusively for heroes as opposed to Spectre or Faceless Void.
I did a bunch of math and calculated his damage based on a fairly normal stacked build:
Attack Speed Percentage: 23 + (2.65x24=63) + 20 (stat bonus) + 80 (mjollnir) + 60 (bfly) = 246
1/1.7 = (0.59 Attacks per Second) x 3.46 = 2.041 attacks per second
Damage: 61 (base) + (2.65x24=63) +20 (stats) + 24 (Mjollnir) + 20 (Satanic) + 60 (bfly) + 81 (Daedalus) + 24 (BKB) = 353
Critical Strike: 353 x 2.4 = 847 every 4 attacks. Bonus 211 damage on average per attack. Bonus (140/4) 35 damage per attack on average from Bash. Bonus 40 (200x0.2) bonus damage per attack from Mjollnir.
DPS of Void: 2.041 x (353+211+35+40=639) = 1304 DPS
OD (It's a bit complicated here)

Outworld Devourer, his Arcane Orb is active, no stacks of Astral Imprisonment. Level 25. Equipped with Boots of Travel, Scythe of Vyse, Orchid Malevolence, Eye of Skadi, Shiva's Guard, and Black King Bar.
Attack Speed Percentage: 24 + (2x24=48) + 20 (bonus) + 10 (Vyse) + 30 (Orchid) + 25 (Skadi) = 157
1/1.7 = (0.59 Attacks per Second) x 2.57 = 1.516 attacks per second.
Damage: 54 (base) + (3.3x24=79) + 20 (bonus) + 35 (Vyse) + 55 (Orchid) + 25 (Skadi) + 25 (Shivas) + 24 (BKB) + Arcane Orb Damage 399 (Math Below) = 716
Arcane Orb Damage:
Mana from Outworld Devourer: (26+79+20+35+25+25=210) x 19 =3990 + 300 (essence aura) + 250 (skadi) = 4540 Mana
Has a 40% chance to fill up mana pool, so on average, after 2.5 attacks, it will restore. Will average 3 attacks. (4540+4440+4340) / 3 = 4440.
4440 x 0.09 = 399 bonus damage per attack.
Attack Speed Percentage: 14 + (2.1x24=50) + 20 (stat bonus) + 41 (manta) + 60 (bfly) + 25 (skadi) = 210
1/1.7 = (0.59 Attacks per Second) x 3.1 = 1.829 attacks per second
Damage: 64 (base) + (2.1x24=50) +20 (stats) + 45 (Satanic) + 30 (Bfly) + 10 Manta + 40 (Heart) + 25 (Skadi) = 284
Critical Strike: 284 x 3 = 852 every 10 attacks. Bonus 85 damage on average per attack.
DPS of Main CK: 1.829 x (284+85=369) = 675 DPS
Phantasms
Attack Speed Percentage: 165 (agility only)
1/1.7 = (0.59 Attacks per Second) x 2.65 = 1.5635 attacks per second
Damage: 64 (base) + (2.1x24=50) +20 (stats) + 25 (Satanic) + 40 (Heart) + 25 (Skadi) = 224
Critical Strike: 224 x 3 = 672 every 10 attacks. Bonus 67 damage on average per attack.
DPS of Phantasms: (224+67) x 1.5635 = 455 DPS
Manta
Manta Illusion DPS: (224+67) x 1.5635 x (1/3) = 152 DPS
Total DPS of CK and Illusions: 675 + (3x455=1365) + (2x152=304) = 2344 DPS
Total DPS of CK and Illusions (+extra phantasm): 2344 + 455 = 2799 DPS
I have more hero calculations, but you get the point. Terrorblade has Terror-fying damage potential as well as strong midgame push power, so he will see lots of play.
I was out-damaged, and out-farmed by this Drow that our Invoker fed so it was difficult to take her on in the early game. But when our Io continuously relocated our Legion Commander to gank her and kill her, they didn't really have anything else to counter my pushes. Every time she died I just pushed a tower, tp'd, pushed another tower, and so on.
Point is that if you give TB any space to farm, he will destroy your towers before you can even reposition to defend. This is why TB is so popular in the current meta.
Another example, this game occured during Summit 2 EU quals (Alliance vs. C9). Proving yet again why you can offer no space for the opposing teams TB to farm.
Tim beat me to it. He really is the new Lycan, except that he can't solo Roshan early. He pushes and has great kill potential, and he can do everything pretty fast. Players like Arteezy who are really good at farming are going to abuse the hell out of this hero for the next few months.
i dont like dominator on him, it doesnt really help him farm faster since he is illusion based.
IMO the best build is the build EE and black use. Manta, skadi into situational other lategame items like: butterfly, crit, bkb, satanic, mkb, heart exetera.
DOTAFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new hero, or fine tune your favorite DotA hero’s build and strategy.
