Snowballing mids...

I have always been of the thought that to win at lower levels you go by this three step process.

1. Pick snowballing mid
2. dominate lane.
3. win game.

Now i have been doing that for my smurf accounts.

my non calibrated smurf i recently had a game with some guys im coaching where

1. picked sf
2. dominated lane (even though i got ganked mid 5 times by full 4 man rotations)
3. won game (26-3-14)

ez game, ez win, ez doto

on my 3552 MMR calibrated smurf i did the same to get that rating

no matter what i did they had no idea how to play the game and fed so much the only one who did their job was Omni.

this game has shown to me that NO MATTER HOW ****ING HARD YOU SNOWBALL IF YOUR TEAM IS **** YOU STILL LOSE.

so i apologise to all those people where i said "pick snowballer win game if you good doesnt matter if team ****"

i actually apologise because this game has shown to me that i was wrong.

your team can actually lose you the game even if you snowball so ******** hard you can 1v5 at 20 minutes but still lose because you have ******s on your team.

In my opinion, there really is no way to win games with idiots on your team unless you can 1v5 the enemy team at all stages of the game...which you aren't gonna be able to do unless you're a Devilish Meepo or a Blitz Storm. It is frustrating because people say "just play better to raise MMR" when it feels like to consistently raise your MMR from 3k to 4k you would have to play at a 5k level all the time, of course that's just my personal opinion. In the end, I guess it's just part of DotA, I don't really see a way to fix it.

Um well. I played a game as Tinker. Won lane easily against a ember. He had bottle, 3 iron branches and a stout shield by around 6-8 minutes. He proceeded to be beyond godlike at 20 minutes and carried their team hard.
To be fair I don't play a good Tinker but still. How.

That's a ****ing Ember, he can kill even without boots, and he has E to farm up. And he can get ez kills in teamfights.

Ember Spirit only really needs Phase Boots and Drum of Endurance to start doing work. His ability to chase is up there with the best, especially with these mobility items.

Tinker excels at avoiding enemy heroes whilst split pushing lanes. How do you avoid someone who can chase you into trees/fog?

Templar Assassin. And I don't care about Ember Spirit because I can farm ancients with Psi Blades. Deal with it.

I'll pick Huskar and wipe you out with Burning Spear. Deal with it.
