i was having problems all early game with my jaunt key it wouldnt press down so i missed out on like 3 kills on QOP and my ping was jumping from 60 to 250so was having problems and then she rotated out of lane and destroyed top twice, Queen of pain was able to get a 12 min orchid :( which sucked haha.
but then i fixed my keys and lag settled a bit and i got a couple of triple kills and was able to grab my blink and then the problems came back this time with my blink key, i had to smash my keyts for them to press which was annoying...
BUT then i felt i started getting into the zone. two escapes from 5 man ganks another triple kill and i got a 5 man silence coil escape which set up a full team wipe on our part.
then drow just went full ****** and would not play play safe so it was all over the place from then on with her dying and buying back like 5 times and the xp graph is stupid...
but we won ... just.
i love puck but never play him with ping issues... your going to have a bad time :(....
if i didnt have the issues with my keyboard and ping ... i feel i would have stomped the **** outa this game :( sad face :(

Puck is honestly, a very situational pick in this meta because of the good ol' ricers coming back. (farming meta)
I mean, he just drops so hard past the 45 minute mark,while Queen of Pain remains relevant in all stages of the game albiet being a very squishy and farm oriented pick.I mean what can puck do? he picks up dagon he picks up Scythe of Vyse yada-yada-yada but its not enough.
Tell me smuggles didn't your gold gain drop very sharply past the 40 minute mark?That's what happens with Puck.You just can't keep gaining momentum on this hero because he can't snowball infinitely.
what i mean to say is, Puck is very ineffective past the 50 minute mark.At this point honestly, you are just a Scythe of Vyse,a dagon and a bkb through conditional stun with Aghanim's Scepter.

^ but he can dominate his lane early which is great and his main strength is his core advantage transitions. He is best when he enforces his level/gold advantage over the other lanes. The only time i was able to go bottom during the laning stage i got a triple kill. i actually think he might work in some line ups but then again i mean he has always been situational. i presonally disagree with it being called "farming meta" i actually call it the "Space Creation meta" because your greatest advantage is gained from creating space for an incredibly hard carry to farm farm farm. i ran a heavy push strat against a greedy line up Medusa Warlock Outworld Devourer and medusa didnt have any space to farm she was useless all game so it doesnt matter if you go late you have to find the farm to do so. i feel puck is amazing at creating that space.

^ surprisingly it picked up... i got a late dagon 5 so it was around 35-45 minutes when i started wrecking face with the dagon euls and scythe. got a double when i was solo against the QoP and Elder Titan.it defs fell off around the 50 min mark mostly due to team fights constantly happening and no viable smoke gank options. but his CC is just too damn high i feel ... and i mean .... slipperrryyyyyyyyy
we lost the first one hard and they ran that in the second. i was just happy i picked up the veno and the jakiro first then it was easy to pick a Necro hard carry and pugna and puck offlane.
worked a treat they didnt have lock down for puck and necro just rekt them mid game with pugna.
medusa ended with a half built skadi and linkens and brown boots.
I know this is kinda off topic but can you guys tell me what you build on puck and in which order?
(I normally go bottle -> boots -> blink -> treads -> scythe/linkens)

I'd say Puck really stays relevant at all stages. Even though he doesn't do as much damage as QoP for example, but he provides amazing crowd control, which I value a lot more in the late game. Your role in a team as Puck is really not to deal damage, but rather lock the enemy team in its place with a well-placed Dream Coil while seriously crippling enemy supports. The damage you deal yourself is not maybe that impressive but imagine, let's say, a Terrorblade whacking at the enemy team freely for 6 seconds (8 if you get aghs). That is really what I think Puck is made for. Now that the aghs buff makes your Dream Coil goes through BKB, I think Puck's biggest weakness is removed: he now doesn't fall off hard when the enemy carry buys BKB.
After that I sometimes buy Hand of Midas if I can get it at about 15 minutes. It really boosts up your exp progression as I find that I often start falling behind in exp because I usually start moving around after I get my blink.
