Mid Oracle can be pretty good though depending on your matchup. You don't need to leave lane since you can heal yourself pretty fast and mana issues get solved by a Bottle untill you get Orchid Malevolence.
Since warding is overrated as well you can freely gank the lanes for easy kills with your burst combo.

Mid oracle sux imo.... its the same as arguing about Venge / Venomancer / Abaddon carry. Sure those heroes have somewhat of a good lategame scaling but EVERY other hero on their team profits from their presence as well. take Venge for instance....sure she does nice rightclick dmg ....but putting a REAL carry right next to her is even better....same goes for oracle

i remember that probably about a year ago, probably even more i was playing mid and suddenly this solo CK was standing on the other side of the river. the matchup really caught me off guard and he bullied me so much by just throwing stun after stun after stun. in the end we got wrecked since we couldnt deal with him in lategame. phantasm hits so hard D=
