A Comparison of Hero DPS

Well, drop Phantom Assassin unless you're a masochist. Half-kappa.

The other four are pretty good but there's no reason why you shouldn't expand your hero pool. Think of a hero you think looks cool, then look at guides and gameplay of them. You seem to be playing a specific style of frontline/pickoff heroes, so consider looking at other aspects such as split-push or siege tanks. Tiny seems like one you'd enjoy, and maybe try Morphling.

Those comparisons do give a nice view in dota.

I don't know if you guys know but there is also a website for these calculations, Hero calculator. It is really nice gives a lot of options and you can even add auras, illusions and others. I think it works way faster than trying those things in a lobby.

Yea, but is that substantial? Not really.

Please do AM with a build that doesn't include heart and who sold his bfury. Seriously the build you use is really inefficient. 6-slotted AM has far more potential than that.

- Black King Bar or Linken's Sphere (choose one, depends on game)
- Manta Style
- Abyssal Blade
- Butterfly
- Monkey King Bar/ Daedalus/ Bloodthorn

OR 6.87/6.88 new meta AM

- Boots of Travel

- Scythe of Vyse (yes I'm serious)

with the classic bloodthorn + sheep perfectly replacing the nerfed abyssal (you can sell it in the late late game honestly) and partially removing the need for MKB.


I'd bet an AM with a similar build can out-damage PA during her W.

Sadly illusions aren't implemented yet, so they say. So any build with a Manta Style doesn't work.




It's not for you, it's for all the skeptics that don't understand that sheep is the best item in the game. I mean, sheep is a better item now than it's ever been. It got nerfed to no longer disable evasion, but then you can just bloodtorn fools on top so it actually does disable evasion again. And 25 second cooldown down from 35. A free kill ever 25 seconds? A 3.5 second stun on a carry? Yes please.

I would build it on CK as well if the game wasn't over way before that.

By the way Mask of Madness + Armlet of Mordiggian on CK ftw. The farming speed is insane with that build. And the snowball potential is through the roof, armlet toggles keeping you alive. IMO that's the best build on CK without wisp. Buying drum without wisp in your team is just a way to ensure that you sit at 300 GPM all game. Seriously why would you ever buy an item notorious for destroying your farm speed on a hard carry whose main weakness is already his weak farming...

AM with Daedalus, Linkens, Manta, Butterfly, BoTs, Abyssal and eaten Moon Shard did 2k DPS on the dummy.

As for CK, I've been theorycrafting potential builds on him and MoM plus Iron Talon seemed legit. I'll have to try it out, but it sure beats a Midas rush...

Not bad. Now do AM with Bloodthorn/ Scythe of Vyse instead of Daedalus and abyssal.

Also do Phantom Assassin with bloodthorn/sheep instead of manta and abyssal. And replace skadi with Satanic on PA because it's straight up better on the hero so in a real game you'd always want it instead.

(of course use similar rules as the rest for burst. But then I think you underrate burst a bit because it's the only thing that truly matters in a real late game scenario)

MoM armlet halberd heart, the ones bots make is actually legit on ck.
You don't care about attack speed early because 1 hit into reality rift is basically dead enemy.

Plus I like building bloodthorn on ck.
Because I like how enemies type "********" in all chat once they are killed by me.
