DotaFire = Kitchen sales place?

I am very, very confused. Somehow, these people are making their nest in DotaFire as their sales place, apparently (I am not complaining to you admins) I am simply confused as of why? I mean, we are Dota2 players for god sake! We are mostly people that cannot afford / need a freaking kitchen! (No offense everyone). Can someone like point out to me their reason? I really want to know, and if this whole "dota kitchen sales" thing actually work probably we can learn from marketing point of view lol. Oh, and by the way. It's sort of annoying, so admins please remove them ASAP (now I'm complaining XD)

I also create this thread for you people to tell me how you feel about them, so feel free to complain here everybody!! :P

I'd also like to point out one of Dotafire's general rules and guidelines:

Commercial Spam: Unauthorized advertising on DOTAFire is not allowed anywhere. Related banners and links may be used in signatures and posts at the discretion of DOTAFire. Should any material be deemed unacceptable it must be removed immediately.

It's spam, spam exists for the sake of spam.

It happens daily, I remove all of them and ban, but there are bots who do it constantly.

Just ignore them, we blacklisted most of the websites and emails they use, but they keep coming again, and again.


Note: If they are up it means I'm offline, but don't worry I don't let them up for too long!

i believe that if you comment in a topic they made they will spread. i dont know but maybe there should be an official notice sticky'ed saying that you shouldnt comment.

Just an update from the dev team, we're working hard to get something out soon that will provide better spam detection / prevention across all sites. We put in some blacklists but it wasn't enough since they just alter their url. Hades has done a great job with the kitchen banhammering, but we're working on making his job easier! :D

And yes why they choose to advertise sinks to gamers, we will never know.
