UAMs on Ethereal targets

Hi all, TheSofa here.

Does anyone know if I can orb-walking on ethereal targets?

For example:

I'm playing and the enemy activates . Can I still hit her by casting as a spell and not an attack?

6.79: Can no longer orb-attack while attack restricted (such as Ethereal or Frostbite)

Which means I can't attack if I myself.

AFAIK,you cant.
Your ethereal target is barred from autoattacks, so you cant. Ghostscepter was always like this if i am not wrong.

But it's a spell, not an auto-attack.

UAMs require you to rightclick. Since you cant rightclick ethereal, you cant use UAM.
Just think of and laughing on you if that happened.

You used to be able to, but they patched it out in 6.79

ypu cant attack units in ghost form, but if there is already an attack flying towards the target the orb effect (glaves, impetus, burning spears) will hit.
