Tips for Tidehunter

Tidehunter is one of the easiest hero to play. Start with picking 2nd and 3rd spell to block and reduce enemy damage. Try getting your blink dagger asap as his ultimate is one of the best in ganks. Enter with your blink and bamm, smash your ultimate and let your team own enemies. For items, I'd suggest to go with blind dagger, blademail, refresher, octarine and guardian greaves. Easy To Play Heroes *laughs*

People say this hero is easy to play, mostly call the people who play them noob specially if it's a stomper (I'm talking to you Hamstertamer) and tag them as easy to counter heroes.
People say this hero is easy to play and understand but they never say this hero is easy to MASTER.
There is no easy to master hero in DotA 2, There is not just "cast Life Break on your target with BKB Or HH and it's gonna be all right" or "Just steal as much damage as possible the attack your target with razor" Or "Just blink in and press R when enemy BKB's are down"
Consider DotA 2 heroes as musical instruments and think these so called "easy to play" heroes are guitar and "hard to play" heroes are like piano or violin. Every one can make them sound with some practice but what makes some of them god like masterpieces and some ear crushing ****.
Each heroes has its own depths some of them may looks shallow but in fact they are not.
Let me give you an example: In this link you can see the pick rates and win rates of all heroes, Take a look at Huskars, Lions, Bounty Hunters and Linas win rates in 2k MMR and Compare them with their win rates in +5k MMR. Same heroes with same skills but different players, What happens in +5k MMR? Do they know a secret spell that increases your winrate? do they know cheats that leaked from valves server? NO THEY JUST MASTERED THEIR HEROES.

So please for the sake of the god and my fingers, Don't just tag a hero with such stuff.

I get it, aghs Gyro is like 150-something attack speed, but the item progression is really awkward since you can't go BKB if you have no damage. Which means, you'll lose teamfights pretty hard. Besides, Satanic is his HP item no contest. And there's pike if you want to play aggressive. Aghs gyro isn't garbage, but it's still a meme build.

Volvo themselves list Tide as one of the 22 heroes recommended for new players. Tide is possibly the best hero to recommend to a new player who wants to learn to play initiator.




What does my pubstomp guide have to do with Tide?
Where did I ever call anyone a noob just for picking a certain hero?
Where did I ever call Tide an easy to counter hero?


My pubstomp guide was specifically directed at low skill brackets so what exactly bothers you about making fun of Sniper players sho rush shadowblade at 2K because "I need an escape"?




Yeah, see, as someone who actually plays both the piano and the guitar, I always squint as people who believe that "I can play video games" is some kind of amazing complex skill that takes years of training and should be praised.
Comparing playing dota with music is kind of a false equivalence really. You can't compare leisure stuff to actual life accomplishments.

Can i consider building Aghs on Gyrocopter against hard disables heroes like Faceless Void and Beastmaster ? enemy cant proper lockdown you with you continue to lifesteal from Satanic, if you active unholy rage you can have even more lifesteal through aghs

Black King Bar is good, Linken's Sphere is good against those too. Otherwise tank up with skadi and stuff.

I don't really think Aghs is worth it.

You also can't activate Satanic while stunned.

I didn´t said that you could active satanic while stunned, if you have knowledge from the game you know Time Walk from Faceless Void has horrible cast time and you have some time to react and active satanic or bkb.Same thing with Beastmaster Roar

In that case, Blink Dagger is your best friend :)

Still better than Agh's + Satanic imo.
