There are very few items that will be absolutely useless on him. They may not be the best for your situation, but you can make them work.

Doom just destroys anybody. If your enemy doesn't build a Deso or Medallion, you can be really tanky. You can build all sorts of utility items to aid your team, you can build carry items, or a mix of both. You can act as a quickscope executioner with just FaZe Boots and Scorched Earth. Hurt both tanks and squishies with LVL? Death. If you put Aghs on Doom you essentialy OHKO one of their heroes.

I'd agree, Lucy is a versatile pick - you can play him as a carry, utility, midlaner, quite a few things.

Bit surprised nobody has mentioned Nature's Profit yet. He's a pick that doesn't give much away about your intentions now that man-up profit is a thing.

NP really just doesn't fit into the meta anymore and smart players will be able to kill the rat with ease.

I just feel like you don't have the same cary capability with Prophet.

I mean, sure you can do a fair bit of burst damage with sprout. But your AA will always be lacking. And I still think you're too weak to do anything but jungle until a little ways into the game.

I think I've gotta go with Mirana or Doom. Its close between a lot of people but those two can fit into the most number of strats IMO.

You could also go the Naga Siren, Abaddon route. Both can fill the carry and support role with ease.

Abaddon is a really terrible carry.

His skillset is not built to carry at all. He can, but it's a waste.
