I'm running into a similar situation. I'm trying to make a thread in the newbies forum and I'm getting the same error. I've followed the advice of "deleting and re-adding a letter".

Also on-topic as to a bug, you can't (well, I can't) post a blog at all. It comes up with 504: Server Response Timeout. No idea why, it's not like I'm doing anything wrong.

Try again, it sounds like either the server went down for a little when you tried to post, or some sort of internet doohickey.

I just posted a test blog and it seems to be working just fine.

So I tried creating a test blog, and that works, but whenever I try and post the new act it still comes up with 504: Server response timed out. I'm thinking it might be some of the formatting - is there anything that might have caused it?

Nope. Been experimenting with formatting, still getting the Server Response Timeout message.
