can i use both blodymare & deffusal together ??

What is the world is bloodymare? If I assume it's lifesteal then yes. You can use both that and diffusal together, but personally I would prefer Eye of Skadi instead of 'bloodymare'.

Midas is 5-7th minute (recipe first), radiance is <20 min (in freefarm situation it is doable with midas too). Then you should be pushing early towers, radience is mainly effective 20-30min, after that it's irritation (blink disable).

I still prefer phase boots (despite spectral dagger), spectra is quite survivable if played right and after some 35 min mark you should have your cores (radiance, manta, HoT).

Hey, nice guide!

I have played some Spectre games with old builds like the Vanguard one, and it's notable that this don't work well anymore. The rad rush too, very risk if you can't farm safe and fast.

I've just one doubt with the Desolate skill. The bonus damage is applied when Spectre is alone, or when the enemy hero is alone?

Sorry for the poor english.

Good job, maercS -

Erm, wasn't it always when your enemy is alone? Agreed to the Radiance rush is very, very risky. You need a good team who wards and babysits you properly if not you will lose out very fast.

Prefering stats over the amazing 20 bonus pure damage per hit, and 10% damage block?!

Yes, I would prefer stats over those two. To start with, why the hell would you want Desolate early for, you aren't suppose to be ganking at level 2. You can't even secure a First Blood with your support because of her naturally low damage and, unless your enemy is stupid, nobody would stand there ALONE during the laning phase unless they're playing the solo lane, which you still can't get the kill because they would have someway of hitting you harder than you hitting them. Getting stats will increase your survival and grants you damage which you sorely need, even 2.

It is argueable on the 10% damage block, but if the creeps are attacking you. It means you are playing Spectre wrongly. Even with a babysitter, you are not tanky in the early-mid game so getting Dispersion is a waste. Furthermore, you might overpush when you're level 4 or 5, causing you to be harder to farm with the towers hitting you all over.

So yes, stats over the other two.

Desolate's bonus damage is applied if the enemy is alone. For instance if he was remove from his allies with vacuum, swap, or if he is running away or jungling, etc.

Edit: I always thought it was that way?

I followed an older guide featuring Vanguard as a first item, but I have felt like it slows down the damage output of Spectre significantly. I will try this guide.

Also, I usually max Spectral Dagger, but also get one point in Desolate and Dispersion. I'll also try playing with maxed Desolate.

I use Phase boots in most cases, makes it almost impossible for a lone runner to get away when phasing on the path.

Also, Blade Mail works wonders in end game against a Void (for me anyway). If you manage to activate Blade Mail in time, and you have enough HP, you can deal so much damage that when Chronosphere ends, you can just hit him once or twice and he dies. Well, in one game anyway.

Just for your information, I tried the Phase Boots + Blade Mail combo I was talking about: they give a lot of damage (you can easily 3-hit creeps with them) and better chasing, but turning into late game is a lot more difficult: it's a double-edged sword, if you can make the early advantage high enough then you're ok; if you don't find any kills nor towers you're going to have a really bad time farming for the late game. I personally think the other ones are better, but it's a fun way to play the Hero. :D

Alright, max desolate instead of spectral dagger. I wonder how will it go.
