Nah, Wyvern is very different. She's actually a good hero, with lots of playmaking ability. Scaling teamfight supports are always really good picks in pubs.

For Techies, he's literally the worst hero in the game, easily countered, annoying to play against but playing against Techies is essentially an autowin because the hero just does nothing. This hero just loses games, that's it - so he's back to the troll tier where he belongs, and I hope he remains there forever.

Oracle...he's strong, but I don't think he's a very good pub hero. If you forget all the 322 things you should never do like dagon ganker or right-click Oracle...you're left with playing him as a VERY defensive support who is kind of a walking ulti, always sit behind your carry and counter-initiate with ult whenever needed. That's pretty boring, effective but boring. Main reason that's not very good in pubs is because it relies on your cores to be smart enough use your ulti in a smart way. Oracle is bad in pubs for the same reason Io is bad in pubs : he's a symbiote hero, and he only works in a 2-stack with a core who has a brain.

And then pit lord IMO is going to fall into the Io trap as well...he's completely dependent on Relocate-ing teammates and he requires teamwork to work well, so as soon as scrubs will realize he's not a carry and he's just another Io despite his badass demon looks...I think he won't be picked that much either and will sit at his confortable 35% winrate xD

On the other hand Winter Wyvern is a pretty standalone initiator/counterinitiator that you can play well without assuming anything from your team. So I think she'll become pretty popular.

And Arc Warden...if he doesn't get nerfed to the ground 1 week after coming out (which he probably will), this guy is the new Meepo/ Earth Spirit, the new high skill cap pub exterminator. No way anyone will ever get bored of this guy. Only thing I'm afraid is that he gets the Terrorblade or Alchemist treatment of getting overnerfed to almost unplayable level. But in GabeN and Icefraud we trust.

Played a few bot matches with WW and noticed that she's anti-deathball when she hits six. Also went Q E build skipping W till I hit six. Due to the shards only dealing damage to those around the target.

Tried a defensive build first. Went Tranqs, Urn, Mek with decent success. Ran soul ring just in case I had mana issues, which odd thing was that I rarely ran low on mana.

The second I ran with Arcanes instead of Tranqs; basically my Omni build. Again rarely ran dry while keeping my team in the fight a lot longer.

The third game I tried a more aggressive build with arcanes and soul ring for mana. The only problem was that WW isn't that great of a farmer. Let alone a flash farmer. So she never really came online as an aggressive hero.

The fourth game I went back to Tranqs but tried teaming it up with more movement with a Euls+Force build. Again her slow farming speed hurt her. Also even with all that maneuverability; she was pretty much a nonfactor in teamfights.

The rest of the games I went back to my defensive Omni build. Which I must conclude fit WW well.

Arcanes I wouldn't say is core on her though. But is good if your teammates can't manage their mana.

I'd say that Euls+Force is good on her if you are able to farm it on her after you get all her early items. Don't even know what luxury items would be good on her. Most just don't suite her.

True, but Techies anger has died down considerably. I feel like Winter Wyvern will be called OP when she comes out simply because Arctic Burn is INSANE. But she won't have as much rage on her because Techies is just really hard to play against and his bombs are really annoying. At least WW is a hero that will take more skill and usage of you rbrain than hitting Q in one place every time it's off cooldown.

Will probably affect the meta too once she hits captains mode.

Zet will be the pre 6.8 tinker. try and win against a good player.... just try.

Pitlord is a mid hero btw. he has an amazing zoning tool and disable plus a nuke and he can relocate himself at 6 to anywhere plus his team... he will be a pos 2-3 at best. his aura is amazing anti carry as well.

WW is probably the best impact support in the game. hands down. once she gets six she can rotate so well. and she is amazing at laning in a dual lane.

I would like to see pit lord coming into the scene, his skill set is just so awesome that counter-ganking is a piece of cake for him.
