A little help with Mirana needed

I think Singsing would flame a lot of people here if he could read this thread :)

Sing sing plays carry Mirana, even if hes roaming. He is an exception, we cant compare him with us bourgeoisie.
And who knows maybe he is a guest here and he sees from above how his puny petty mortals are playing.

Sing2x goes 4-4-1-0 (no ult) until needed. (In pubs, at least)

He also goes for MoM.

You're not him. So don't try those things.

What's wrong with the no ult Mirana build? The only purpose of Moonlight Shadow is to initiate teamfights, so there's no use skilling it until your team starts 5-manning. It hardly helps with solo ganking since you're supposed to arrow from fog anyways.
Sure you could use ult to save allies from ganks, but whenever there's a Mirana in the enemy team and I'm playing some sort of ganker, I never go for a kill without my trusty Dust of Appearance, so I imagine people at Singsing's MMR are doing the same.
Actually people used to always skill ult at level 9-10 on Mirana back when the mana cost was higher, and some still do this build now, it's perfectly legit actually.
And Mask of Madness...well people build it on Drow in competitive, so what's wrong with it on Mirana?
Seriously, Singsong's Mirana is hardly troll in any way, it's really how she's supposed to be played. She's at her strongest in the first 20 minutes of the game and she's supposed to burst people with her combo over and over. People who go safe lane Midas/Linkens and AFK farm are the real trolls here.

Heres the biggest flaw. Your ulti is not only for 5 man, it is for one man too. Did you never had a mid laner gank on you with an invis rune activated?
And who says she falls off after 20 mins?
She got a 5 second stun for gods sakes. Thats stun comes out of nowhere so you cant say bkb is an option. The stun is not blocked by linkens so that's not an option either! She is one elusive S.O.B. You give her some items and she can perfectly hold her own. Modern day jakiro is impersonating her in my opinion. She flees, weaves in and out, does her thing and kicks some ***.

The element of surprise is advocated by Sun Tzu in his art of war. A simple dust will help you mitigate the damage pick some people off if you have seized the initiative., but it will not mitigate the element of surprise they just had. Unless you got sentries and they are **** players enough that they dont deward don't think you will win over the enemy. I have tons of matches in observation where overconfident players practically threw because they thought hers is a ****ty ultimate.

Singing goes no ulti because he plays greedy and as a roaming carry.
Drow is a position based hero that needs attack speed and not damage.
Singsing builds MoM because he goes for solo kills.

And i think this thread started on whether taking starstorm was viable instead of arrow. I think we both agree judging from you last line how safelane mirana is troll, that we level and max arrow first.

Not skilling ulti is perfectly acceptable, in certain situations i think it would rather be better.manacost issue was a thing of past and ulti is considered as an option. To write it off is a blunder imo. mirana is about teamplays and encouraging your team to coordinate. Your ulti is what brings all your team into one train of thought, it consolidates unifies and solidifies one undeniably true fact: dota is a team game and mirana is its mascot.

Singsing solo kills, you cant even hope to do that. So don't even think of it.

Pros take pubs lightly. You gotta take their builds in pubs lightly as well.

A pinch of salt makes food tasty. Hell i would even go salt crust food. Take too much and you get saline poisoning.

Arrow is utility, so you can get a stun and then go in with leap and nuke with starstorm. I'd get more points of arrow early and then max starstorm first
