Made a few drafts today against a fellow DOTOFire member. If anyone feels like giving advice on the Drafts, feel free. I haven't been Drafting that much lately and I feel this was good practice.
I'm gonna analyze these drafts pretty quickly, so don't take it too seriously:
First draft: to me, if Dire didn't pick TA, they would've won the draft hands down; but it's very hard to tell which team wins with such lanes. TA doesn't bring much to the table versus a disable-heavy lineup and elusive Heroes aside from increasing Juggernaut's physical damage, but it can work out if dual laning mid with the Disruptor. Both Skywrath and Disruptor are great picks here.
Second draft: it really depends on how the game goes. I'd say Dire wins because they can stall and let AM get farm with their counterpush, but Radiant can easily take over the mid game and snowball to victory. And even in the late game, they have pretty good teamfight.
Third draft: two very balanced drafts, but seeing how the meta goes I'd favor Dire. Radiant wins the late game with three strong cores and good Shiva's/Cuirass holders, but if Dire plays it well they will never get to that stage.
Fourth draft: Dire again, they just pick the better Heroes for this meta. They're not going to stomp Radiant, but using Finger of Death on such tanky cores doesn't help much (though Lion is a good pick in general) and there's no burst damage after Mirana's arrow apart from Brewmaster maybe.
Fifth draft: this time Radiant has a very solid draft. A Black King Bar on the cores should pretty much make the other team useless, and Brewmaster will get stomped mid if Tiny and Lion (I suppose he's roaming every now and then) play it well.
Sixth draft: they're both good drafts, but the laning is kinda weird. I'd probably favor who wins their lanes, but they're really strange: Tide could've soloed the top lane, while Jug, Lion and AA could've gone bot taking easy farm and levels. This is really convenient because Dire's trilane isn't that strong, as it lacks synergy and only has one stun; being Dire, I would've probably dropped the Batrider for an aggressive Hero that doesn't need much farm ( Axe, Timbersaw, Legion Commander, Doom...) and laned him with Io leaving Slark plus WD top, though this makes the draft really greedy.
Seventh draft: it's pretty hard to decide, but seeing the pickoff potential the Radiant has, I'd probably favor them. The only Hero with enough HP to survive a Wisp relocate is Lycan, and their 5v5 teamfight lacks follow-up damage (though there's a lot of burst damage to follow a Batrider lasso).
I always wondered how can you tell who's the winner only by drafts. Human factor means A LOT, having a good execution is as important as having a good draft.

You have to imagine how a coordinated team would try to run this, e.g. which Hero would Initiate a fight, which hero would Counter-Initiate? Which Abilities would be reserved for which heroes, etc. etc.
1st game: Faceless Void and 2 horribly executed(if Xyrus plays them ofc) roaming support. 100% Xyrus.
2nd game: I just didn't pay attention, you really were Dire, I confused the sides. You can see a guy who is NOT Xyrus(from 1st game) ban Tidehunter and Brewmaster again... and again..... and again....... So Xyrus is Dire because this guy was on Radiant side.
3rd is the same.
In 4th Radiant took Brew though Dire bans still contained Tide. Add 2 roamers again and you get 100% Xyrus drafting 4 Radiant(though this draft is so horrible you could tell he's actually drafting for Dire).
5th game - 3rd alrady contained Tiny-Wisp 2mid, plus Lion pick and Troll+Disruptor ban(Dire drafted then in game 5). Obviously, Xyrus is Radiant again.
6th - you knwo Xyrus loves Lion, you know his opponent hates Brewmaster, what more do you need?
7th - obvious, same trick as 3rd and 5th.
So I could ofc say it's my logic being perfect though it's more likely you guys being soooo predicatble.
